Divorce AU (TLG)

This post is only about Guest 1337 and Matt. Daisy and Charlotte will be someday in the future...

🔴Matt🔴

Nothing has changed with him. He still survived the war with the Bacons Hairs and married Molly. But the divorce of Guest and Daisy has changed the relationship within the TLG trio.

Matt is worried about both Guest and Daisy. After all, they've been friends since childhood. Why the hell is their friendship falling apart before his eyes?

I think Daisy might be bombarding Matt with questions about Charlotte: how is she, is she okay, etc. Since he also interacts with Charlotte and Guest, and she worries like a mother.

Since Guest is now overprotective of Charlotte, it will be much more difficult for Matt to communicate with both her and Guest.

🔵Guest 1337🔵

The main difference from TLG! Guest 1337 is his divorce from Daisy, which has affected him and his family.

He misses Daisy terribly, even though he partially hates her.

Guest gained custody of Charlotte with great difficulty. In the end, Daisy was categorically against his plans and wanted to take their daughter with her. (And since custody is given to the mother by default, and Charlotte doesn't want to choose between her parents, I'll have to think about how Guest ended up taking their daughter with her in the future…)

Guest sees Daisy in Charlotte.

Yes, yes. He's perfectly aware that Charlotte is his DAUGHTER. But at times, memories of Daisy flash through. Just look at her appearance. Charlotte is practically a carbon copy of her mother. 🤷‍♀️

Overprotective.

The Guest barely gained custody, and of all the people he cared about, only Charlotte remained (and I think this moment has the biggest impact on him. He lost his parents, Daisy, and there's a rift with Matt, so ultimately, she's the only one left by his side), as well as a simple parental desire to make sure his child is safe.

Relationship with the TLG trio

Things are complicated for him with Daisy. I think it's clear why. A fight, a divorce, and ultimately Charlotte is with the Guest. The only reason they still interact is because of their daughter (and she's also the source of some conflict).

With Matt, I think it'll be more difficult, since he tries to maintain good relationships with everyone. But the Guest himself sees him as a threat to Charlotte. At the very least, he thinks his friend might side with his ex and try to take the child by force. (And he doesn't need that 💔💔💔)

I have a very random question for your Steve! Has he ever received a hug? If not, and he were to receive one, what would his reaction be? :0

This actually made me realise that Steve doesn't really get hugs.

They've seen Villagers hug, and have probably tried giving them one without realising you can't just walk up to people and hug them-

The first time they got a hug is... from the little Villager from the Savanna Village. It wasn't really a genuine hug, the kid just wanted to hold onto someone. Still, Steve found it nice.
