Bending/Culture

I started this sketch back for kuspuk week, the design here was inspired by kuspuk worn in dance and singing performances, the stance from tai chi. I'm quite patrial to the idea that southern waterbending was partly traditional dance in nature.

Day One - Admiration

This started out as a sketch for a different prompt but, that one didn't make it (can you guess what one).

This is Aang and Katara in a take on the Tibetan chupa garment, and traditional boots called lham (Katara also has a Korean daenggi at the end of her hair). All can be made out of pulu, woolen fabric. So, Appa is not in this picture, but he's in this picture ;)
