Are you still alive?

Yes I am, but unfortunately I was quite busy this semester.

The little time I could invest in art was completely occupied by the project which you can see above.

I designed an album cover for the german black-metal band “Choroba” and their second release entitled “infiziert” which will be released this summer.

It is an inverse drawing - meaning that the original drawing (the second picture) was scanned and than inverted on the computer. The result looks quite cool in my humble opinion.

But that’s it with this short excursus -> I will try to get back to my regular drawings as soon as possible…

Childre of Bodom - Angels Don’t Kill

Another attempt to merge music and art into a symbiosis. The initial idea was similar to my “Lady in Gold” drawing from last year: starting off with some song lyrics and turning them into an Art Nouveau style piece.

It marks the next step towards an overall direction that I started following (partly unintentionally) throughout the last couple of months: to explore new ways to express my ideas in art following the idea “Sound made visible”.

I think the result is more coherent than last time, but I know that I can still do better than this (nonetheless I am pretty satisfied with how this turned out). However, I already started planning the next one hoping to bring this whole concept/project to the next level.
