Yeah I'm not good enough with Japanese names for this but it's interesting

The endings of Japanese given names are gender-based. The “ko” ending is extremely feminine, so removing it would make the name more androgynous. Masculine names could be Nadesuke, Naderou, and Nadeta, but I did just make those up.

There’s a masculine name in use that features “Nade”, which is Kanade.
