This is Madeira #1

even though it's been already 4 months since we left this wonderful tiny island, we'd share this stunning nature with you all. photos are from the first 3 days of our 7 days travel.

This is what we did/summary

we bought return ticket (wish it wasn't return at all) from Manchester do Funchal for 55 euros. we rented a car for full 7 days. not mentioning the price, otherwise I'd cry. we stayed first two nights in Canico, then moved to Funchal. we walked 85 km for 7 days. we met amazing czech and slovak people while hiking and walking by levadas. we fell in love with this island.

Days we had

Day 1: started in Canico, through Funchal, continued to Cabo Girao, Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar and back to Canico.

Day 2: started in Canico, stopped at Ponta de Sao Lourenco, had a proper hike/walk, continued to Porto da Cruz through Faial straight to Santana.

Day 3: moved to Funchal for the rest of our trip /started there/, continued to Curral das Freias.
