I just finished editing together Issue 12! I could not be more excited about all of the people who are some how involved with this new issue. Working on Issue 12 was a huge learning process that brought a lot of new things to conciser with the magazine. I know I’m sounding pretty redundant at this point, but once again, this is the largest issue I’ve put out (with over 240 pages) and some how I’ve finished it in the shortest amount of time I’ve ever taken to finish an issue. I tried to incorporate a lot of nuances in this issue, from the people who were included to the arrangement of the pages and images, all in an effort to relate everything as closely to the theme as possible. I’ve had a lot on my mind about where I am in my life and what I hope to accomplish with FORGE. over the past few months, and I hope that this is more apparent in this issue than maybe the previous ones. Beyond that I’m so thrilled with all of the submissions I received and all of the interviews I was able to conduct. It seems like everyone who’s included in this one is at an incredibly busy point in their life, and I really appreciate everyone taking the time to contribute something :’). I hope that each of you can enjoy this issue as much as I have enjoyed making it!

This issue also includes interviews with AdHoc co-founder, Ric Leichtung, Cristian Hernandez and Juli Majer of DDOOGG, Bayonet Records co-founder, Katie Garcia, Nick Gazin of VICE, and illustrator, Meredith Wilson. Â This issue also features the FORGE. Spring Review, documenting several concerts and events taking place in New York during spring 2016.
