Walker (2012) - Tsai Ming-Liang 

Tsai Ming-Liang’s short film “Walker” (2012) follows the journey of a robed buddhist monk, inching his way through the bustle of Hong Kong. through the use of field recording and lack of dialogue, Ming-Liang delivers an unbiased snapshot of the city and leaves interpretation to the audience.

Luscious drones are complimented with feedback-harmonics rising and falling with exquisite subtlety - a soothing escape from the daily bombardment of adverts and sale signs.
