Ways To Celebrate The Pink Moon (as a Christian)
If you’re unaware, the pink moon is a symbol of spring and new beginnings, as well as a way to get clarity in and strengthen (or let go of) relationships
It’s April 1st-2nd, and here’s how I’m celebrating it with God
If you have an altar, put some flowers or plants at it for God as a gift. I also put some stones I bought a long time ago in it (the last time I put a stone on my altar, I got a lot of good things, so I took it as a sign of God being pleased with my gift)
Light some incense and a candle. I personally lit Frankincense, but if you can light multiple incense, I’d recommend frankincense, myrrh, and any rose/flower smell with it. For candles, I’d recommend pink or white ones, but you can also just do flowery scents.
Take some extra self-care time. Take a warm shower, do skincare, anything! Just take some time to relax before entering a new era
Write 3 things you want to grow on a paper. This is what this time is for. Tell God everything you’re planning to improve on!
Of course, read your Bible. I’d recommend revisiting Genesis, Jesus’ birth, or his death/revival. If you can’t read, just talk to God. Tell him what you’re letting go of for the spring season, and thank him for what he’s given you!
Go plant some flowers trees and spend some time outside. Enjoy the season.
Start a new part of your routine. Workout, change your diet, try new makeup, cut your hair. Reinvent yourself, even!
Finally, just celebrate! It’s a new season, a new time, and you get to be whoever you want!
bonus: wear pink tomorrow with a floral perfume :)
