[the last christmas cake in the shop]
"Weâll wait for Koyo," Spanner says, accepting the cake and handing over his credit card. "Itâs been too long since Iâve last seen you, and it would be nice to walk home togetherâŠ"
He pauses to consider the party - and shakes his head, casting a brief glance at the clock just beside the register.
"The party wonât end so early, I think. I can come in after a while."
Enma smiled softly. "W-Well...if it's okay..." He didn't want to urge him not to be late to the party. In fact, he was quite happy his big brother offered to stay with him and Koyo for a little longer.
He turned his head to Koyo, blinking, and wondering if he was off the clock now that the last cake was sold to Spanner. He didn't want to say anything to pressure him otherwise.Â
