Fuuta's not the type of boy to hold a grudge. He forgives quickly, and is always ready to forget and move on. The one time he decided not to be like this, he had gotten into a fight with his roommate, Kohaku. The latter had pulled a prank involving Fuuta's scarf, and, well, no-one messes with Fuuta's scarf. So he stopped talking to him for the remainder of the semester (and in those last few weeks, said scarf never left his neck). But then the term ended, and Kohaku told him he would no longer be attending William Calley It had happened as they were packing their things to leave—backs to each other, as had become the norm. "By the way," his roommate had begun, "next term you'll have this room all to yourself." Of course they made up then, but Fuuta never stopped regretting the lost time they could've spent being friends again. And though he and Kohaku still keep in touch, he will always be hounded by the pang of what could have been.
