i just realized that i haven't posted an honest-to-God no-nonsense selfie in a few weeks, and while i have been busy, i haven't liked myself lately. i haven't had the energy to want to envision my future lately. and that debilitated me. i'm finally on the other side, and i can look at things like my bedhead, my lip wound from constant lip biting-anxiety, massive eye bags from exhaustion, and my crooked, cheesy smile without feeling like i'm not good enough. guess what? i'm fabulous, and no one will tell me otherwise. to those who feel the same: you are everything, i promise there's little pinholes for the light to get in, they're just harder to see on some days. i've got your back. it'll happen again, it always does. those feelings will take over and stamp out the light, but we've ALL got your backs, bbs. just be you. i promise that i'll love the hell outta ya for it.
