I remember thinking that having a job meant security like having a “secured” paycheck or “secured” benefits. But a job didn’t help me pay my bills in time. Not for jobs or for accomplishments...but for the attention of men.” I remember when I was so distraught because my ex cheated & I needed answers from him, from the girl..but man, that day I realized that women don’t stick together. I thought she would relate or at least sympathize because a majority of women have gone through the cheating & lying right? But that didn’t matter... All I can say is that prayer is powerful. The strength, healing, knowledge & patience I prayed for, I received and now I’m in a better place than I was last year. What I also learned was that I need to be that woman that brings our gender together...no woman should ever feel like did. I wouldn’t want my daughter to feel that way.
