D: I REALLY hope the roleplay doesn’t die and that a new Puck can be found for me… And if you leave, a new Quinn. <3 I feel soo horrible about leaving. :( But, I think my schedule is gonna get a bit busy as well and I just really don’t like popping in randomly and stuff. :/

I might have to leave, even if Emily decides to stay (which I hope she does). I just got off the phone with my mom, and these next few months are going to be super busy for me. Not only will I have treatment everyday that will make me tired and even more sick at first, I have to start home schooling so I can get caught up with my work before midterms, college apps (which are due really, really soon for some schools), and studying for ACT/SAT that I need to take one more time each.

And then my eighteenth birthday is in a few weeks, so my parents want to do something really special. 

That being said, I'm going to try and stick around because I love you guys so much. However, this is just forewarning that if things become too hectic for me, there is a possibility that I will have to give up my spot as Quinn.

Tyler held onto his mom a little longer then usual. It comforted him knowing that his mom was there for him. He knew his mom right but he still felt lousy about the whole situation. He wanted to be there for his sister. He wanted to be the best older brother out there. Abi was the only girl that really mattered to him. Of course he loved his sisters and mom the same but he had a different type of relationship with Abi. He felt the need to protect her and take care of her no matter what happened in the future. Tyler laughed trying to lighten the mood. “She probably needs the ice cream more than we do.” He just wanted his sister to be happy again. He wanted to see her smile when he talked to her and be herself. He didn’t like this “new Abi”. He finally let go of his mom and then continued to eat his food. “I’ll talk to her tomorrow and see if she wants to do anything fun. Maybe that will help her.” 

She smiled at his attempt at lightening the mood, resting her arms at her sides as he finally let go. Quinn studied her son as he continued to eat the ice cream in front of him, nodding her head at his idea. It was hard, because she wanted to warn him that the likelihood of Abi wanting to do something would be low. Yet he seemed so determined to try to help, she didn't want to ruin that feeling for him. Releasing a soft sigh, she placed her hand on top of Tyler's and warned, "Try not to take it to heart if she says no. A lot of people have tried to get her to do things, and she just doesn't want to. I encourage you to ask, but if she starts to push you away and insist that she doesn't want to do anything, don't push back. I'm not saying just leave her alone, because she needs you to be there and show that you are trying, but don't be angry with her if she does." Abi needed people to love her and support her more than anything right now, and if Tyler was willing to make the effort, Quinn would back him up one hundred percent.

Tyler sighed. Suddenly, he wasn’t hungry anymore. Depression. Could Abi really be depressed? He now felt like a failure of a brother. Wasn’t he supposed to protect Abi from getting hurt? Wasn’t he supposed to be there for her? “She doesn’t want to live here anymore?” The words stung even more when Tyler spoke them himself. His little sister didn’t want to be around him anymore. She wanted to runaway. “And I’m guessing this is more complicated then the time that I almost ran away” He mumbled. He couldn’t even look at his mom right now. “I just wish that I had been there for her. I wish Beth and I had done a better job scaring her classmates. I wish-” He stopped himself. He couldn’t keep on going because if he did, it wouldn’t help him at all. It especially it wouldn’t help Abi. He was complaining about what he didn’t do and was about to explain what he could do. But right now, he really needed to be there for Abi instead of saying that he would be there for her. 

She listened to Tyler talk, offering a small smile as he seemed to be struggling with the idea. "It's not your fault," she mumbled, pulling him in for a small hug. "It's no one's fault. Sometimes people just go through hard times and they need a little extra help to get through them." Quinn couldn't blame anyone in this house for the way Abigail was feeling, not even herself because they were all trying their best. If someone was purposefully talking down to Abi and calling her names, then she could put some blame on a person. So far, that hadn't happened. All they could do was be there for support, but at the same time, not be overbearing and annoying because she didn't want her to push everyone away even more. "Just be there for your sister, be happy around her, and remind her how much you love her. If she pushes you away, don't let her completely. Remember, she's not herself right now."

Tyler’s eyes lit up when he saw the bacon already done. “I can’t believe I didn’t spell it.” He grabbed a piece and looked up at his mom. The silence was filled with the chewing of bacon. Most people would find it uncomfortable, but it’s what Tyler needed right now. He didn’t need to have a long interesting conversation with his mom, he just needed her around. He felt like he had been neglecting her a lot lately. He was going to be the badass he was on the inside but not in the same way he had been for years. After his mom’s panic attack, he knew he had to change for her and for the sake of future relationships. Between all of these decisions, Tyler was still worried for his younger sister. She had barely spoken a word to him in the past couple of days. His attempted efforts to talk to Abi had failed. He missed his little sister. He missed that happy smile and carefree attitude. She was only eight but somehow within a week she had become a thirteen year old, and not the typical type. “Is Abi okay mom?” He didn’t mean to say it bluntly, but it was the only way he would get an answer. 

She could see the concern in Tyler's eyes, it was the same concern that Puck, Beth, Lucas, and Puck shared. If only Abi really knew how much her family loves her and how willing they are to do anything for her. Quinn had confidence that they'd get their old Abigail back, the girl full of life and spark. However, it would take time, and they had to be patient with her. "She's not okay, Tyler. She's suffering from what I think is depression. Your dad and I set up an appointment with her and a psychiatrist so she can be evaluated, but I'm not sure how much it'll help." Sighing, she pushed her bowl of  ice cream away and continued, "I don't think she wants to live here right now, and she hates going to school. For now, we just need to make sure she knows that we love her and be there for her if she needs us." The idea of this lasting a while didn't settle well with Quinn, but there had to be something to speed the process along.

Tyler was happy to hear that his mom liked his idea for the baby’s name. Usually, Tyler was the one that was left out on these type of decisions. But lately, things had been turning around for him and his relationships with his family. He was working hard to be a better person and please his mom because she deserved to be stress free during this pregnancy. He wandered into the kitchen looking for his mom. One thing that could always bring the family together was bacon, despite the fact that they were all half-Jewish. “Mom?” He called as he opened the kitchen door looking for the bacon. 

At the first mention of bacon and ice cream, she was heading down to the kitchen to get some. Dealing with Abi and the depression had taken a lot out of Quinn over the past few days. It felt like no matter how hard she tried, nothing worked which turned out to be quite frustrating. That didn't mean she'd stop trying, but it felt like a setback instead of moving forward. With the bacon already on the stove and the ice cream dished out in two bowls, one for Tyler and one for herself, she waited for her son to join her. "Right here," she smiled as he walked in the room, pointing to the bacon in front of her.
