Piper turned around in an instant. Damnit. She thought. Attempting to straighten herself up, she arched her shoulders and held herself with poise. “I figured I could drop in for a little while.” She nodded, lips pursed. As hard as she was trying to make everything sound effortless, she failed more than she let on. Her hair itself had taken her an extra few hours. “You used the ‘can’t judge a book by it’s cover’ line on me, so I had to come.” She frowned as she placed her shot glass on the tray of another passing waiter. 

Looking around the party, she noticed an untimely glare coming from a blonde and what seemed to be her close group of friends. What was this? Pre-K? “I just got here and already I’m getting unwanted looks from your many suitors. Gracias.” She patted his chest before easing up a little bit. Her back slouched a little, and she shifted her weight onto one leg. Running her fingers through her hair, she looked at the boy and motioned towards the party. “Well… Teach me your fun, party-going ways, Oh Wise One.”

He smirked, quickly looking her over as subtly as he could. For some reason he guessed she wouldn't be as... flattered as other girls usually were when he openly checked them out. He crossed his arms over his chest and laughed. "So that's your kryponite? I'll have to keep that in mind..." He smirked teasingly and raise an eyebrow at her shot glass, figuring she wasn't that type of girl. He supposed he could practice what he preached, or whatever the saying was.

Will glanced behind his shoulder as the girl that he had been talking to, who was now surrounded by her friends, giving Piper the death glare. He couldn't help but laugh at it because to him it was simply amusing. He looked back at the beauty in front of him and shrugged. "It comes with the territory, I'm sure you'll get used to it." He shot her a wink and his signature charming smile before tilting his head to the side slightly. "You want to learn how to party Will Gates style?"

Though Piper had vowed to not attend the party, she felt the need to make a short appearance anyways. It was the first big Allegory event that had been thrown since her arriving, and this was her one chance to make an even larger mark on the campus than she already had. As far as she remembered, everyone who was anyone was going to be there. Summer, the F5, Natalie, Felicity, Nate, William… She shook her head. She couldn’t understand her fascination with the boy. He was irritatingly nosy, cocky and strangely intoxicating. And to top it off, she absolutely hated that charming smirk he was always giving her. For some reason, though, upon hearing he was going to the party, she wanted to change her plans entirely. Piper figured that acting like her appearance wasn’t a big deal was the way to go. 

Fluffing her hair, she stared at the elevator doors as they opened to the rooftop. Let’s get this over with. She thought to herself. Walking out, she could see the effects of the light shining off of her jewels on her fellow party goers. Eyes were on her as she walked through the crowd, looking for one person that she actually knew. Puffing her cheeks and blowing out a huff of air, she muttered, “Great.” before grabbing a shot off of the tray of a waiter and downing it in seconds. “Just freaking great.”

William had been, of course, chatting up a girl as Piper arrived. He had been at the party for a good half an hour and had always made his way through most of the crowd. He was wearing dark jeans and a white shirt with a blazer, and was pulling off the 'I'm not trying to look good, I just do" look effortlessly. He smiled at the chatty blonde as he brought his cup to his lips, his back facing the elevator. 

He was about to ask the girl what her thoughts on superheros were when she, the girl, gave a scrunched up look to the elevator, with a mumbled "What is she doing here?" under her breath. Will turned to look at who the blonde was referring to, expecting to see another blonde of sorts. What he got though, he was pleasant surprise.

William quickly pushed off the wall he was leaning against and headed over to where Piper was standing. He wasn't quite sure what was possessing him to do it, but Will wasn't the type to think before doing. He approached her with a sly smile and a wink. "So, you decided to show up, did you?"
