what's your opinion on the puppy bowl? i'm pretty sure its fine, but i'd like to hear your say on it.

Absolutely adorable and totally safe! A veterinarian is on set at all times, to ensure the pups’ safety if they happen to take a rough tumble or need any medical care. Representatives of both the ASPCA and the shelters donating the puppies are sent in order “to ensure animal welfare standards are maintained.” Lastly, there’s a representative from the American Humane Association on set whose job is to watch over and ensure the puppies don’t grow too aggressive and injure one another.

The puppies are all adoptable / taken from shelters, they’ve all had their vaccinations and get a break each thirty minutes due to the heat from the lights! Each pup is given a single human handler, and the large amount of puppies means they all get a break so as not to tucker themselves out too much!

In short, there is always a number of licensed professionals on set whose sole focus is ensuring the pups’ safety. Which is, obviously, a huge plus in animal-focused entertainment! ( The other animals are all treated just as well, with kittens / cats being filmed one day, dogs / pups another day and the other animals on the third day ! )
