Love story glow up of the decade if you ask me

Oh how far they’ve come and how amazing it was to see them be more and more open over the last decade. They’re the first couple i remember seeing who made me question my sexuality and helped me come to terms with it. I know i’m not the only one they’ve had such an impact on and i can only wish them all the happiness in the world for what’s to come 🥺💞

I have been following Ali and Ash’s tags on tumblr since I was 15/16, hoping with my little gay heart they’re together (cuz cutest shit ever am i right) and here I am, about to do my PhD at the age of 23, but also crying over the fact that they are out and proud, being badass and shit, looking gorgeous on their wedding day. I have never been prouder of them, of our community, and of myself.

Listen up all you new bitches. This here ^ is Dawn motherfucking Scott: The USWNT’s high performance fitness and strength coach. This is the woman that makes sure our players’ bodies stay in the best physical condition possible throughout national team camps. She keeps them ON POINT by monitoring every second they’ve played in order to create individual treatment/training plans based on hydration level, reported muscle soreness, and emotional status DAILY. I truly believe we would not have won either the 2015 or 2019 World Cups without her. She is invaluable, irreplaceable, and extremely/sadly under-appreciated. So here’s to Dawn Scott 🍻 Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to keeping our girls alive and making sure they truly live up to their potential as the best players in the world. We don’t deserve you ❤️
