Daigo rised his eyebrow at her question. Why would she even ask it? Well, nothing other as business of course. Kiryu was one of his most trusted men so Daigo had nothing more than asking him for help this time too. “Business, my dear.” He answered simply at her question. Nothing more, nothing less.

“I was a bit surprised that he decided to brought you here but if that’s how it is, maybe you want some Taoyaki? It’d be rude to eat it and not share even a small piece.” A small shade of smile could be seen on the chairman’s face. He really liked Haruka. She was a smart, small girl and sometimes it felt better to talk to her than to others. Of course not about the topics focused mainly on the Tojo Clan. 

Daigo offered her one of the small balls which were making him drooling. “You know there’s not much to do so you might feel bored.”

Haruka nodded her head. “Yeah, I’m surprised by it too. Not to say I’m not happy to be here though. I really like spending time with you, Daigo-san!” Her eyes lit up when he offered that she eat the takoyaki with him. “Is it really okay for us to share? I had bought it just for you, in case you were running on an empty stomach.” she explains.

She walks over to grab the first fried octopus ball. “If you insist, then I guess I should dig in!” She pops one into her mouth, the taste of mayonnaise and bonito flakes being the first things to greet her tongue. After hearing Daigo’s explanation, Haruka shook her head no. “I really don’t mind, Daigo-san. As long as I get to spend some time with you, I’m happy.”

“That’s very kind of you.” His smile was soft. Almost like the softest silk you would touch. Haruka was always a very kind and smart girl and spending time with her maybe is a good option to finally relax and leave the paperwork behind for a day. At least Daigo hoped that Kiryu didn’t take her here for a small amount of time. Many years passed from the last time he had a occasion to spend time with the girl. 

“After we are done eating maybe I can take you for a small walk? Of course I’ll tell Kiryu that you’re on my watch. I won’t let anyone harm you.” His voice were serious. Kamurocho is a beautiful town but also a dangerous one. The chairman started finally to eat the Taoyaki. He didn’t remember the last time he actually eat that. It’s taste was like a heaven for his mouth and sweet memories now slowly coming into his head.

Haruka nodded her head. "Yeah! That sounds like it would be lots of fun!" She hums delightedly at the thought and looks around for somewhere to sit. The look on Daigo's face was indication alone that he really enjoyed the taste of the takoyaki. She had gotten it from Gindaco Highball Sakaba. Uncle Goro always told her that it was better homemade or at a stand he went to with a girl he liked way back when.
