Interesting discussion about how software is communication, and thus inherently political. Some good points in there.
here are the songs i have written for an album called “100″ which features 100 three second songs that i wrote for my friend’s video game. they were all made on a casio ca-110. you can listen to it here:

goodnight, ya nerds
Four years ago I decided I wanted to get as far away from NJ as possible. That goal took me to NYC for three years and SF for a year after that. Two months ago I moved to Berlin. A week ago I quit my job. A day ago I signed my first contract as a fault injection consultant and started setting up my new x260 with 21 hours of battery life and a Google Fi sim card that gives it a data connection in 130 countries. I can cram my life into a 17 liter GORUCK Echo, but I may need a little more for a sleeping bag and shelter.
I’ve decided to travel less in August. Since I moved to Berlin I’ve only spent a single weekend there. I should slow down and take it in for a few weeks. I’ll take an intensive German class 4 days/wk, torture a distributed database written in Rust for 8 hours/wk, rent a desk at the CoreOS office in Berlin for idea sharing, work on my bouldering and lead climbing, and take quick trips to NYC for a wedding and Edinburgh for the Festival Fringe. Fuck, that’s already two weekends. Time is so scarce.
