I really like how the background image on the poster matches their poses here! I think it's a way to emphasize the child and parent relationship between Emi and Ken. To everyone else there are these giant monsters running around rampant, but for Emi and Ken it's just like trying to catch the toddler that ran away from you at the grocery store

Emi my sweet girl🥺💜. CUTE BIG CHUNKY BABY!! Also, they had no business making kenji so fine like omg. I will definitely be doing more art of just him for sure. But I did a style inspired by the movie. I also did not want to line art anything, I love this graphic style.
