What I can't fathom is ever since the start of the final arc anime, there's this resurgence of new Ichihime shippers that all decided that since it's canon, that must mean it must have been well-established, wasn't shoehorned in at the last minute, and that it was totally normal for Rukia to get sidelined in TYBW.

It's just sad to see this new age bleach fans is just about the most boring, headache inducing fanbase to come across...

Idk, imo it's not that Kubo is a bad writer (if he was, the whole relationship between Ichigo and Rukia wouldn't be as amazing and fire as it is, HE WROTE THAT), but like he has a perfectly good established narrative and he actively CHOOSES to trash it scrap it for ????? reasons??? because "he intended Ichihime to always be endgame so their kids could carry on the death and strawberry" but then why did he actively hinder IchiHime on every level to show they weren't good for each other, especially in the HM arc and elevate IchiRuki every chance he got to the point he says in interviews he feels almost compelled to draw IchiRuki together???

The moment a mangaka says "romance isn't important" or "idk how to write romance/women" you'll already know you are in a losing battle 😭😭

I’m sorry but Rukia can read Ichigo better than anybody and can make him feel better by calling him outright on bottling up his bullshit and I’m supposed to believe that they’re not a perfect fit? Sorry I’m going to keep my eyes closed on this one.
