What's your thoughts on the recent Pokémon Direct? Are you excited about Pokémon DLC?

I wish some of it had been in the base game like some of the pokemon being added (they could’ve been only available in certain versions and/or certain weather conditions like how there are pokemon like that now). More hints to the new areas in the main game would’ve been cool or something to make the base game more substantial (more with Marco Cosmos) as I’ve all mentioned before. Other than that though the DLC seems cool. I already got the pass since I had $20 credit on my account and only had to pay up $12 more.

I mean in theory, sure. But lando-t has dominated the meta game for many generations now and was a staple in many teams, why would there be more variety now? (minus the other tiers, you can get some cool ideas and stuff in UU and RU over the years 🐬)

There are staple gen 8 pokemon people use that add variety and you can find ways to counter lando-t, I’m sure. Especially now that pokemon have more restricted move pools and hidden power is gone too, and I doubt lando-t will be able to learn toxic either. Not to say it won’t be good anymore because it will be, and I’m sure people will find other things to replace those moves with, but it’s like people being salty about garchomp returning. Idk I don’t see it as a huge deal to get super bitter over. Lando-t can do a good job, but it can be knocked on its ass too. There will always be staple pokemon and there will always be counters for them.

The one thing I'm truly salty about when it comes to SwSh is that we couldn't ride the ferris wheel.
