This piece is 2.5 characters! The lil gnome girlie is Billie <3 and then the two fire ele"man"tals are two versions of Blazely Smokesman by Haven1220. Absolutely love the vibes of these characters <3<3<3<3

This lil cutie is an incubus named Quivven from Space_Jelly <3<3

Was a lot of fun doing the colors! I had messed around with rim lighting on the cowboy piece I posted last time and experimented with drawing simple backgrounds. It's essentially using a fat brush and blocking out the colors I want, duplicate the layer, then gaussian blur it to oblivion before duplicating it into the great beyond. Move the color block layer above for cleaner lines and then tidy up.

It worked really well for the creepy forest piece, likely because the fog helped hide things, and definitely sped up the process for the stage scene, but I feel like it wasn't as good as it could have been. Alas, I was hurting from lack of stretching and felt like I was spending way too long on the piece already.

Working overnights, I tend to do chores in the morning after I get home. Today is trash day so I lugged my big blue bin to the side of the road. I also carried out a cat tower cause this week is bulky item pick up and I needed to get rid of that specific one. My former neighbor gave me another cat tower and a whole bunch of other shit after she found out her fiancé had a whole other family. Crazy right?

That thing didnt last 5 min out there. It is being carried away as I type this out lol
