Defend the Internet Archive
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR DONATIONS ON CHANGE.ORG DO NOT GO TO THE SUBJECT OF THE CAMPAIGN
That means that when you donate, it goes to change.org. Now, this isn't useless — it does mean that the petition gets boosted. However, you're pretty much doing the same thing by reblogging. I am concerned about people donating something like $40 dollars since I'm not sure if they realize it doesn't contribute to the legal fund or not.
If you want to donate to the internet archive's legal fund (and help with operation costs), then you can click here to go their donation page

Do you have a degree in animation? Very curious to how you learned and progressed to such a high skill level!
Hello there! I do have an animation degree, from Gobelins Paris! I started drawing when I was a kid, started digging into it more at 16 or so, and I was mostly self taught. I started animating around the age of 18, now I'm 24 and I'm still learning a lot everyday, even after the end of my studies. I was really motivated to be in a strict learning environment, to push my mechanical techniques in animation. A part of my family had saved enough money so I could afford a private school so i attended Gobelins at 19. At 22 during my third year, I was lucky enough to be selected for a exchange program for another school in LA and this helped me boost my abilities but the amount of work was insane!! But I don't want to put all of my efforts on Gobelin's back because not only the education there is flawed, but you can be a lot on your own. So my main advice would be to stay curious, vigilant, and have fun! A little note: Nowadays schools are even more expensive, it's quite depressing. However! A degree isn't mandatory to work in animation, so if you can train online or with friends! A friend of mine works as a pro and learned during Covid so anything is possible you gotta train your eye and go for it!
Animated commissions?
Hello!! Thank you everyone for the many nice comments I've received about my "biting heart" animation <3 This support means a lot!! A lot of you came to my DMs asking about animated commissions. I'm planning to open some soon! And I was wondering, if you could pay for an animation of your character, what sort of animation would you like to get? Walk cycles? Loops? Small scenes? I'm all ears, I'm looking for feedbacks since it'll be my first time opening them (:

Compiled some basic information I know about drawing fat characters for beginners since I've been seeing more talk about absence of really basic traits in a lot of art lately.
Morpho Fat and Skin Folds on Archive.org (for free!)
I also wanna point out that your character being fat doesn’t mean they don’t have a skeleton inside them! Clavicles may be softened, but they are still there. Joints will be padded with fat, but they will still be there And can even be bony. My point being - most fat folks who aren’t pretty flexible cannot sit in some positions because their bones don’t just bend around their fat and muscle. If a skeleton cannot bend that way, neither can fat folk. This seems really obvious but I’m dead serious, Use that to inform you of what poses are physically possible for your fat characters.
Also, for those who write comic panels or tell stories with fat characters - fat is insulating, and is used by the body to regulate temperature. A fat character will take much longer to feel the cold, and it will take them longer to warm their skin back up completely to the touch without warm water or other outside source of heat. Along the same line, Someone who is fat will take longer to cool down from something like heatstroke or heat exhaustion, and their skin will likely turn redder and feel hotter for longer when they’re overheated.
