Eyre's 5k celebration: stories that inspire me
I can't quite believe that 5k of you follow me. It's been almost a year that I started to share my stories, but before this blog was a place to share what's in my filthy mind, it was just an archive where I collected (reblogged) the stories that so many of you wrote and that live within me to this day.
So I figured: two writing challenges later and a hell of a lot of words written, what better way to celebrate than to share the love and maybe help other writers remain inspired to keep gifting us with their endless talent?
From today until the 1st of July, I'll be here acting as your resident porn librarian (my favorite title, if you are unaware of it). Stop by and ask me for a recommendation.
Here are some ideas of what you can send me, but the written world of fanfiction is your limit. Just keep in mind that these will all be my personal recommendations, and as much as I'm an avid writer, I still have personal limits. So there's always the possibility that I either don't remember/can't find something, or just haven't read many of what you're looking for yet.

💛 - Send me a kink and I'll give you one of my favorite fics that features it
💚 - Send me a trope/scenario/AU and I'll give you one of my favorite fics that features it
💖 - Send me a category of fic (series, social media au, fluff, angst, or smut) and I'll give you something to read regardless of character
💙 - Send me this heart if you want a recommendation of one of my personal favorite fics, regardless of character, theme, or warnings
💜 - Send me this heart for a recommendation of one of my favorite writers, with an indication as to where you can start on their masterlist
🖤 - Send me an aesthetic and I'll give you a fic to read that might have something to do with it
🤍 - Send me a color and I'll give you a fic to read that reminds me of it for some reason
I'll be keeping my recommendations to one per ask, so I can keep providing different answers each time someone asks me. That means if you ask me for my favorite Stucky threesome fic, I'll give you one of them, but if someone else asks me for another recommendation, I'll definitely have at least one other story to recommend.
As might become obvious, I have many favorites, and I want to celebrate all of them with you guys this week, so I hope you'll join me.
I also hope you'll remember to reblog the fics I'll be recommending and perhaps consider writing something you liked about it in your reblog! Give them a follow, perhaps even tell them I recommended that story! The important thing is to keep sharing the love because we often remember to do so when it is too late.
