Underrated cuisine

Indonesian food has to be one of the most underrated cuisine in our region. Everyone's raving about Tom Yum, Kuey Tiao, Pho and such, but ask them what's their favourite Indonesian food and they'll be stumped; or their knowledge of Indonesian food does not extend past the babi guling that they had on that one trip to Bali.

I feel that Indonesian food, especially simple warung food (like the one in the picture) that can be found on every Indonesian street corner is far superior than most food I've had (I'm not hating on anyone here btw); rich, tasty, decadent and fragrant.

Indonesian food is honestly one of the best, and in my opinion, it doesn't get the recognition that it deserves, just my two cents' worth.
