This is veryveryvery important. My wife was feeling down about herself the other night and asked me “why do I look like this?” And I immediately brought up a photo I had taken of a sculpture of Aphrodite I had taken at the Chicago MOMA. I said, “look at this picture. What does she look like?” And my wife very shyly answered “Me…” (Literally her body is IDENTICAL to the sculpture) so I replied “that is the Goddess Aphrodite. THAT is why your body looks like this.”

The 100 Season 3 promo

The promo just came out so I figured I’d post some screen-grabs and do a bit of commentary/thoughts because I’m bored and avoiding finals. If you want to watch it, you can here: [x]

Clarke’s talking to someone. A female voice, asking her about Mount Weather.

An army of the dead? Are they zombies? 

Then we get this lovely little view of what is presumably Camp Jaha and how domesticated it’s getting. They’re farming! On a more sinister note, Indra’s voice tells us that Clarke is being hunted…by everyone. 

Speak of the Indra! Not sure who she’s talking to. Probably Bellamy and Kane.

Is this the first car we’ve seen in the show? It’s marked ‘Rover 1′ so there are presumably more. And it’s currently racing a horse.  

Bellamy and Lincoln are sparring. Looks like Lincoln’s winning. (It’s about time Lincoln won a fight…)

It’s a Jatavia moment! Jasper’s got a neck wound and is working on growing a goatee . I’m gonna guess he’s grieving Maya.

Kane grew a dad beard to help him with parenting Bellamy! And Kane is warning Bellamy about how the sky people believe that this is real peace and to not screw it up. 

(There was an explosion that I couldn’t get a good shot of - sorry!) Bellamy’s been captured. Looks like he’s got a paddle/blade to his neck.

WHY IS MONTY BEING HELD HOSTAGE? WHO DO WE NEED TO ATTACK?

This reminds me of the Clarke/Anya river fight post escape from Mount Weather. Hopefully this one doesn’t end with Clarke being hit over the head with a rock…

Overall, I WANT SEASON 3 AND I WANT IT NOW. 

I wasn’t really all that excited about season 3 till this came out so… well played, Jason, well palyed

My roommate and I just met Ricky Whittle!! We gave him a hat and talked about Clarke letting him get taken by the Grounders at the end of season 2. My Clarke cut got a little smudged but Ricky said we looked great!
