I want everybody in the 100 fandom, in any fandom really, to know that they’re fucking valid. Whatever ship you ship is fucking valid. You fucking matter, and these characters matter to you. No matter what the show runners, or whoever believes they’re reigning supreme in the fandom says. Your ship is fucking valid, your art is fucking valid, and you are fucking valid.

I know this would probably never happen, and mostly likely cause more problems than it would solve, but I personally think it would be really cool to have some of the main/popular ship blogs (fanfiction, edits, whatever) for The 100 do some type of inter-blog exchange to promote fandom/ship support (i.e. write/make something for a ship that isn’t their main one or something). IDK how this would even work logistically, and I know people have very particular/personal ship preferences/anti-preferences which would deter involvement, but honestly, I’d really like to see more positivity going around for the rest of the hiatus.

Hi everybody and welcome to The 100 Unity Day Project!

The idea behind this project was initially inspired by this post. Its purpose is to help spread positivity and love through the 100 fandom while also helping to raise awareness and increase the fan base of the show while it is on hiatus.

The first plan we’re implementing is Fandom Friday; every Friday will have a new theme and fans are encouraged to make graphics, edits, gifsets, fanart or whatever else they would like to share. Feel free to tag us in posts with #100unityday. For more info and next week’s theme, look here. The rules are simple: this is a 100 positivity blog, and we will do our best to stay impartial, but absolutely no hate towards any ship/fan/character/actor etc. will be tolerated under any circumstances.

This is just our first idea, and we are hoping to start up other activities such as organizing twitter trends, fandom-wide re-watches of the first two seasons and discussions on the show we all love so much! To join us in spreading the love, please follow 100unityday to receive updates and reblog this post to spread the word!
