Will you read my poem? Alceste says it sucks, but who is he to tell me that, right?
Your poem was beautiful. Don’t let mean old Alceste ruin your fun. Hypothetically speaking, even if your poem was bad, it’s okay because you have a stellar personality. So if I did say it was bad, you would keep loving me - forget the haters cause somebody loves ya, right?
Oronte, when you read me your poem, you asked me to be sincere,
while the truth is clear to everyone, they are scared make you shed a tear.
You have your reasons; permit me to have mine
for thinking that you cannot write a line.
Celimene, you tell me I have your love, that I am jealous of all men,Â
but how am I supposed to act when you say things like this, then?
Oh Alceste, you really should calm down about this poem. This philosophic rage is a bit extreme; You’ve no idea how comical you seem.
Might I add, Oronte the close is exquisite- full of feeling and grace. I absolutely loved your poem, I hope you go great places with it;
I absolutely agree, you’re very talented indeed!Â
