so Slovak news outlet Denník N just reported that Šimon Nemec asked NJD management for an exchange.... and I always knew it was coming but I'm still crushed 😭 I really love 1743 and I hoped they could keep playing together...but I guess it's just not meant to be

this might turn out to be massive cope but i've gotta say the report reads like a bit of sensationalism if not completely inaccurate. dennik sport has outright refuted it

and so has nichols at this point we hear the trade chatter every month so i'm gonna take it with a massive grain of salt.

like it wouldn't surprise me and he's entirely justified for wanting out but i don't think the report about sunny not talking to him yet, if true, is that big of a deal, he's clearly overhauling personnel in a lot of spots + it's hard to begin contract talks before he's actually figured out ways to clear cap/roster space first

i'm with you though, all of this sucks, we do the nemo trade chatter monthly at this point and it's exhausting. fitz has left such a mess behind and sheldon being back next year doesn't fill me with much optimism but until something actually happens i'm gonna keep hoping nemo stays
