MAF test today. Too nice to let that be the only thing.
37 degrees. Check. Windy as heck. Didnāt plan for that.
Finally got outside. Me and everyone else. Very crowded.
I lost count of the days. Some time on the trainer this morning.
Day 44?
Well, blogging is not working out.Ā Too busy at work.Ā When the day is over, screens are the last thing I want to see.
Coach S dialed me down a bit.Ā A extra rest day so I can hit most of my workouts.Ā I somehow thought Iād have more free time.
Nearly two hours on the trainer this morning.Ā
Then off to finish the basement.Ā The second part of the āLā.

Day 37? (Part 2)
It started as a small project to put some more shelving up in the basement and has become a monster.Ā Something that I should have done years ago but never made the time (a conscious choice).
Phase I
The unfinished part of my basement is āLā shaped.Ā It had become a dumping ground for la famila.Ā
Before
The first thing I had to do was destroy my old tax returns. Ā I had them going back to 1994.Ā I found a shredding company that would come to the house.Ā Phase I got wrapped up during the week.
After
Phases II and III are bigger.Ā Everyone is getting a bit tired of self-quarantine, but weāre trying to make something good come out of it.
Day 37?
Ka-Blam!Ā That hit me.Ā Feels like Ground Hog Day.
For my run, I decided I wouldnāt do anything Iāve done before.Ā Tough.Ā If it had to be a street I ran on before, it had to be in reverse or on the opposite sidewalk.Ā I ended finding new walking paths and a trail that I had to jump a street (twice).Ā That helped.
Day 36? Ended the ride early out of boredom. Finally hitting.

Well that was a long month.
Some time on Zwift this morning.
Iāve spent a lot of time during this pandemic turning negatives into positives.Ā Stuck at home = a lot of home projects getting done.Ā Canāt leave the house = banking $.Ā Extra time = self improvement.
My boss let me know that Iāll be taking over three accounts from another office. Ā āI trust you.āĀ Iām glad Iām getting a reputation for turning things around, but some days Iād like the easy ones.Ā I think Iāll go re-watch Michael Clayton.
Another improvement project knocked out. Custom closets! Making the most of self-quarantine.
Day 33 - Lunch time run

Embraced the Rest Day on Monday to let my body recoup.Ā Just some restorative yoga in the AM.
Today I planned to do a virtual ride on Zwift with Fiv3 Racing.Ā My conference call ran long so I jumped in 15 minutes late.Ā Had a lot of energy to put into the pedals so I pushed 191 watts.Ā
Havenāt felt that strong on the bike in some time.Ā That felt good.
Days 24-30?
Well that stunk.
I was exhausted by the middle of the week.Ā Took Friday off of both exercise and work.Ā Have not done that in a long time.Ā Body and mind needed it.
Was able to get in two hours on the bike Saturday.
And a run today (with the second half faster than the first).
On to my next project...
