it's funny that they say "bone dry" when not only are your bones always wet, they're actually actively producing more wet

I think bone dry is because after you remove them from the body they get pretty dry, but that is still weird. It's like how blobfish are called that because they get blobby when you depressurize them even though they're perfectly normal looking in their natural depth
