still thinking about the tadc finale and a lot of criticism i've seen regarding how gooseworx handled jax's character. not commenting on that specifically since it's not my place but rather making a note of how it seems like so many people just don't understand the complexities of being a closeted queer person... like, one of the biggest points of critique i've seen others make is that jax vehemently rejecting femininity can't possibly mean anything to her feelings about being a trans woman in denial, which like? i can see where they're coming from with this complaint, but would it not make sense that someone who refuses to confront something about themself would hate being in contact with anything that would directly remind them of what they're trying so badly to ignore? i've seen this sort of thing happen first-hand when it comes to ex-gay people blocking out homosexuality, so the moment i learned what was happening with jax i immediately understood it was a similar situation. obviously the show's writing isn't perfect and i'm not saying anything about it is inherently right or wrong since again it's not my place, but i feel like this could be an opportunity to learn about different people's experiences with subjects like this rather than immediately dismiss them just because they don't match up with how you view them to be.

i have had this teddy for most of my life, i have made him a shirt from my dad's t shirt's sleeve as a kid. the shirt is very... interesting color by now, and it has very big holes in it. so i decided to make my dear nalle(teddy in finnish(it's his name)) a new shirt. i cut up a white t shirt's sleeve, and made arm holes, and yay!! nalle has a new shirt now. i thought about putting him in the washing machine, but then i thought about how it didn't change his matted fur at all last time, i googled some options, and wow, apparently a dog's brush can make it fluffy(?) again. i found my cat's new brush i bought, yes i know it's not a dog's brush but it still worked!! nalle doesn't have matted fur anymore!!! so happy~
