Voice for street dogs
As per Indian law, street dogs cannot be beaten, killed or driven away or displaced or dislocated, they can only be sterilized in the manner envisaged in the The Animal Birth Control (Dogs) Rules, 2001 enacted under the Indian Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960 (A Central Act), vaccinated, and then returned back.Generally it js against the law if we beat or try to dislocate the street dogs from there birth places . While Section 428 provides for maximum of two-year jail term for killing or maiming animal of the value of Rs 10, the punishment is up to a five-year jail term if such offence is committed against animals of Rs 50 or more.The right given by the government to Community dogs (stray/street dogs) have the right to food and citizens have the right to feed community dogs but in exercising this right, care and caution should be taken to ensure that it does not impinge upon the rights of others or cause any harm, hindrance, harassment and nuisance to other individuals or members .
Street dogs may be stray dogs, pets which have strayed from or are abandoned by their owners, or may be feral animals that have never been owned. Street dogs may be stray purebreds, true mixed-breed dogs, or unbreed landraces such as dog. To all the people who write them self animal lover in social media and kill the animals and beat them in real life should be awake and start to love animals . this is the time to wake up and stop people from killing animals
