This drink features a refreshing blend of mate tea, strawberry syrup, Tahiti lime lemonade, crushed mint leaves, and sparkling water — resulting in a light, vibrant, and aromatic combination.
It was a collaborative creation: I contributed ideas alongside the bartender, and she brought the process to life. Photographer: Paula S.
Yes, that’s exactly what you’re seeing… a mini croissant!
This drink was specially created as a welcome drink for an event celebrating the French community in Brazil, held at a cinema in my city. The concept blends creativity and sophistication, adding a playful yet elegant touch to the experience — a perfect fusion of mixology and classic French inspiration.
A surprising detail that delighted guests from the very first moment and made the welcome truly memora-lo.

I photographed this dish during my work at a restaurant in the city, and it’s the kind that surprises you from the very first bite.
A creative and distinctive reinterpretation: lasagna with tucupi sauce. The classic Bolognese base is elevated with the bold, unique flavor of tucupi, bringing an Amazonian twist to the dish. Made with a mix of beef and pork, the sauce is rich, hearty, and full of character, coating each layer of pasta with depth and balance.
A dish that beautifully blends tradition and innovation into one irresistible experience. Photographer: Paula S.

Here is a version of the Bloody Mary. Made entirely by hand, the tomatoes are roasted with thyme and carefully seasoned, then transformed into a rich concentrate with allspice and Tabasco. It’s finished with a red wine salt rim and a crispy fried rice paper garnish, adding both texture and a bold visual element.
About the original & fun facts: The Bloody Mary is believed to have been created in the 1920s or 1930s, often credited to bartender Fernand Petiot. It became popular in Paris and later in New York, evolving over time as spices, sauces, and garnishes were added. Originally much simpler—just vodka and tomato juice—it grew into a complex, savory cocktail known for its bold flavors. It’s also famously associated with brunch culture and is often considered a “hangover cure,” making it one of the most iconic savory drinks in the world. Photographer: Paula S.
I think this drink was inspired by the classic Cosmopolitan… I don’t remember very well Photographer: Paula S.
A delicate arugula and radish salad, layered with fresh greens and thinly sliced radishes for a crisp, peppery bite. The composition is elevated by a vibrant citrus dressing that gently pools around the base, adding brightness and acidity to every element. Light yet expressive, this dish balances freshness, texture, and color — creating a refined and visually striking presentation.

Caipirinha — a classic Brazilian cocktail made with cachaça, fresh lime, sugar, and ice. Known for its refreshing, citrus-forward flavor, it perfectly balances sweetness and acidity, making it one of the most iconic drinks in Brazil.
Fun facts: The origin of the caipirinha dates back to the early 20th century in Brazil. One popular story says it was first created as a home remedy in the state of São Paulo, mixing lime, garlic, and honey to help treat illnesses like the flu. Over time, the recipe evolved — the garlic and honey were replaced with sugar and cachaça, transforming it into the beloved cocktail we know today. It eventually became Brazil’s national drink and gained worldwide popularity.
Bartender in progress. This one I remember very well — it was for Halloween. Photographer : Paula S.
Gin and tonic. For this drink, I contributed to its creation by collaborating with the bartender. I described the need for a light, citrus-forward cocktail with added coloring, aiming for a visually striking, artistic gradient effect. Photographer: Paula S.
I enjoy photographing processes, and this photo was taken at a restaurant where I worked. I had the pleasure of photographing the bartenders.
