hey, could you love me? i mean, i’m messy haired and hard headed, but there’s love in me too. hey, could you love me? i mean, my lips are misshapen and my tongue plays with knives, but i’ve got poetry in me too. hey, could you love me? i mean, i laugh too loud and i love too hard, but i’m softer than fresh, powdery snow. hey, could you love me? i mean, i feel a bit lonely, but i’m good company. hey, could you love me? i mean, i’m tired of keeping my own self company.

A woman can be beautiful, with skin soft like cotton candy, or jagged spikes erupting at her wrist. A woman can be beautiful, with words sweet like rich chocolate, or raw like dripping honey. A woman can be beautiful, with her body swelling and dipping like the ocean, or smooth and still like a frozen pond. A woman can be beautiful, in any way, in any form because a woman’s radiance is beauty. And there is no greater radiance than a woman who has finally learned self love.

It hurt because it felt like you tried so hard for them and they didn’t try at all.

When you love someone, its never over. You move on, because you have to but you take them with you in your heart.
