favorite season
Miraâs actually pretty fond of winter!
People do a lot of odd things in the winter time, mostly due to the pressure of the holidays and spending time with family. Suicide rates go up and everything generally just...becomes slightly more dismal. Itâs easier for her to be calm in the winter because thereâs less pressure for her to be a happy go-lucky person like there is in the spring and summer.
It also lets her study people more closely, especially how they act around family!
And letâs not forget winter fashion, right?
favorite animal
snail
Mira really doesnât have any favorites. She tolerates all animals, but-- itâs difficult to have a favorite when she used to kill them as a child.

opinion on peace
Mira believes in peace and understands it, just not when itâs applied to her. Sheâs not really sure sheâs ever felt true peace in her life, so she canât speak about it personally. The closest sheâs felt at peace is when sheâs wrist deep in someoneâs chest.
It would be more applicable to her to measure her opinion on chaos-- the opposite of peace, more or less. Sheâs much more familiar with the lack of peace, after all.

Do they believe in luck?
In a sense. Mira believes that she makes her own luck. Of course...there are times when bad things happen, but she doesnât equate that to having âbad luck.â Itâs just something that happened to be bad instead of good.
Mira doesnât think that the people she doesnât kill have good luck. She just wasnât interested in them. She doesnât think people she does kill have bad luck, either. If one wants to be lucky, they have to take charge and make sure that they end up that way-- not leave it to fate.
Opinion on love
Mira has never understood love and never will. What epilogue I donât remember any epilogue.
She didnât understand it from her own family, from her own friends, or from anyone else. If she understood it, the likelihood that she wouldâve turned into the Heart Ripper is more slim. Love is a type of emotion and she simply doesnât get it. She can pretend to be in love all she wants, but being in a relationship with Eric doesnât help; his kind of love is overbearing and sappy and it confuses her even more.
She thinks its interesting that people apart from herself can feel it, though, like how Eric can feel so strongly for someone like her.
âŻ: Do they believe in karma?
Not really?
Mira knows of the concept, but she doesnât quite think it applies to herself. She simply doesnât understand it. She knows what karma means and how it could apply to other people, but she doesnât think about it. When she kills, itâs not because someone did something bad and thatâs what they have coming to them. She kills for her own comfort and whether the person she attacked was a saint or a sinner-- well, she couldnât care less.
Sheâll mention it in conversation if it applies, because thatâs what normal people would do. She could joke about it, like âWell, thatâs karma for you,â but she doesnât really think about it anytime else.
Iâm not going to die.
sheâd been warned countless times about this variable in the game. Sigma-- no, Dr. Klim, as they were very different people, sheâd heard.
âEveryone dies, you know. Some of us...just sooner than the others.â her tone wasnât even serious. it was more whimsical than anything, because she was simply stating a fact of life that she thought everyone knew. and, of course, Dr. Klim, who knew tragedy like no other was no stranger to the concept of death.
though, Mira knew he wasnât just talking about in the grand scheme of things. he knew all about her...and she picked up something akin to a warning in his voice.
she turned to walk away, one arm crossed under her chest and one up in a backwards wave to him.
âOne day youâll see.â
Send me â for an aesthetic board about our muses.
"What are you waiting for?"
âJust what so many other people are waiting for.â
contrary to popular belief, Mira did not kill haphazardly-- no, thatâs what separated her from other barbarians, she thought. when Mira saw someone she thought might have the right heart for her, thatâs when she would strike. sometimes sheâd wait it out...and sometimes sheâd simply follow them until they were alone and end it right then and there. she did not go on a spree in a crowded area...she was no mass murderer.
she was quite skilled at what she did.
âIâm waiting for the right person.â
she just couldnât quite tell whether this girl was worth her time yet or not.
You look pretty.
sheâd heard many statements like that over the years, but it really wasnât until people would say âwhat, canât you take a compliment?â that she realized thatâs what they were-- compliments. they were compliments and she was expected to feel something akin to happiness when she heard them.
so, Mira had learned to wear that half-smile of hers when she heard them.
âThatâs sweet of you.â she paused, thinking on what else was appropriate to say. âYou look very pretty, too.â

@berylune
when Mira was a child, rarely did she hang out at playgrounds like the other kids did. she preferred trails, parks, and fields where people of all kinds gathered. there was something alluring about nature that made people want to gather, take a walk, or hang out with loved ones. watching the myriad of people was always much more interesting to her than hanging out with other kids her age, who just wanted to dig in the sand and play make-believe.
so, while the city itself was dangerous, Sector oo6 was peaceful, the perfect place to just observe. it was also the perfect place to see a familiar face, apparently; she couldnât mistake that red hair.
âDiana.â she thought the girl was dead, but the city seemed to throw something new at her every day. âDid you come here to get away from the chaos, too?â
It was always the same thing for him. Day in and day out he did his best to wander around the district and avoid the fights. He had woken up to a weapon by his side⊠but all it was, was a BB gun. There was nothing he could do with that, really, aside from perhaps hitting someoneâs eye if his aim was good enough. In his usual state of terror and panic, though, that would be hard to do.
Thatâs when he heard a voice calling his name, one that heâd never thought heâd hear ever again, least of all in a place like this. Eric turned to see Mira standing a bit behind him.
âMiraâŠ..â His voice trailed off before he gave a weak laugh. âYou know me⊠Iâm always lost. Iâve been wandering around here for a good week, but I havenât figured out how to escape from this place yet.â
There he goes again. Putting himself down in front of her. Then again, she was used to it. He had dated her at one point in time and that as something he had done over and over. It was a bad habit that was hard to break. As was staring at her. Eric attempted to quirk a smile. He wasnât entirely sure what to do around her other than to be careful. He remembered it very wellâ she was the heart ripper. Is that why they brought Mira to this place? Specifically to this district? They said something about an experiment when he had first woken up. Was this to test him? Was this all fun and games for the scientists who watched over this place?
she always watched him, studied him, so she was confident that she had a pretty good idea of what he was thinking. ordinary in almost every way, Eric was an open book for her to read. Mira picked up on this acute air of...hesitation he had around him; the way he kept his distance from her, the way he generally didnât seem to be all that happy to see her.
it made her pause and think. in her few days in the city, Mira had learned her fair share of interesting things about the city. how there were people (and creatures) from different worlds, how there were people who were supposed to be dead walking around in good health-- so, she supposed it wasnât all that inconceivable that Eric might know more than she would like him to.
she always wondered what he would do if he knew of her identity, her sins. she conjured up a lot of scenarios in her head, but in the end she knew what would happen. having enough insecurities for the both of them and being absolutely in love with her, Eric would continue to fall for her smooth, manipulative words of faux affection. she had him wrapped around her finger and as long as she did, he would continue to be the poor fool who was simply way too in over his head.
Mira decided to take a leap of fate, so to speak, and assume that her guess about Eric knowing too much was correct.
she walked until she was close to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, even going so far as to speak her next words into the crook of his neck.
âI doubt thereâs an easy way out. There never is. Thatâs why... Iâm glad youâre here with me.â
