Justice is Yours. I know it is. I can keep getting angry over and over and over again, but I know that it will just consume me each and every time, and how am I to get better by doing that?

You are a just God, and I know that there’s a time and season for everything. A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time of peace. I know that in due time, all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all. The only thing I can do at times like these is to trust You with all my heart and to not depend on my own understanding.

I can’t always just be angry, and vengeful, and furious. Because anger does not produce the righteousness that He desires. Seriously, shame on me for always letting the sun go down while I’m still angry. How quickly I forget what I already know. Tsk tsk.

Please understand. This isn’t just goodbye. This is I can’t stand you. It rises all around me, and now I’m barely breathing. A thousand faces I’ll choose to ignore.

I listen to you cry, a cry for more attention, but both my hands are tied, and I’m pushed into the deep end. I listen to you talk but talk is cheap, and my mouth is filled with blood from trying not to speak. So search for an excuse and someone to believe you.
