Black girls deserve to learn free from bias and stereotypes.

Most black girls experience this hatred at schools. And classmates are not the only problem, there is no support from teachers, too. That’s why they get so affected by their school experiences. Black kids deserve to be treated just like everybody else, they want to study, they want to learn something ,too. However due to prejudice they are 5 times more likely to be suspended than their white peers and it can ruin their lives forever.  National Women’s Law Center created this video to change the situation. Join the movement to help black girls feel normal and get the same opportunities everybody else has.

Can i talk my ish, again? 1. Just me or are some experiences so racist/oppressive you kinda have an out of body experience; like is this reeeeeally happening in 2017? 2. If most peeps in the world are people of color, why aren’t we just people & people w/o color are just that…or albino…or [insert what my more radical friends would say] 3. Always impressed/scared with how deep the white supremacist programming goes…either it should be recognized & awarded as a timeless tool of oppression OR considered a mental health disorder and treated. 4. DEAR BLACK WOMEN: I salute thee…especially yall with “ethnic” names 5. DEAR WHITE PEOPLE: we're all human beings, bro. One doesn’t need to “prepare [themselves] to work with organizations led by people of color”… it’s an organization. not to mention this, amongst other questionable comments, were made by the Chair of the anti-racism cmte. for a large liberal group meeting I attended this eve. oh, I WILL obvi be a vocal member of this group. 6. TRUST I could go on, but the Feds are always watchin :) *steps off soapbox*

On the way to kassiopi w/ the bartender from my hotel bc why not hang out w/ strangers & ride on the back of their motorcycles going really really reeeeeeeeally fast?! When you ask about a helmet he chuckles....then an hour or so later while chatting he reveals he was in a REALLY serious moto accident and still ha limited mobility in 1 of his hands and back aches. First you're like 😳 but then 😎💁🏾
