Hi! This may sound like a dumb question but how do you find the models of the toons and maps?

Not a dumb question!

For the Toons, you can find them on Sketchfab, you need to make an account first tho :(

People have posted a rigged version almost every single Toon and Twisted in there. There's also a couple items! Sadly, there's not many maps in here.

For the maps, I recommend using the Roblox Studio Toolbox. You'll have a better shot at finding maps and background assets in there.

There's even some custom maps around.

The downside of the Toolbox is that assets from Dandy's World will often get deleted. So I recommend creating a private game to keep as many different assets as you can find.

That way you'll have more things if you want to create custom maps.

When taking these pictures, each Toon was given one simple instruction... ''Smile!''

A snippet of an animation I've been working on!

The song is called Epoch, it's a remix by The Living Tombstone.

I'm also working on a Halloween themed animation with Gourdy and Toodles. Here's a little gif!

This part was based off the ''Hug me'' meme.

I'm using this song for the animation. I've had both these animation ideas for a while, so I'm excited about working on them.

Animating cartoony characters is fun as hell, but man it takes a lot of time. I'm proud of myself for these tho, hehe!

Secret Mission - Animation loop (+Some art stuff!)

Merry Christmas! This song from the Moomins reminds me of Rodger and Toodles. One of these days I really wanna make a big cool animation with it.

I uh- had trouble syncing it to the music so I decided not to.

I've been trying my hand at animation. I'm a big fan of body language and cartoony movements, so this is gonna be fun.

Last thing I ever animated was an animation meme I made on Flipaclip on my Grandma's phone back when I was 12. Which alas, it is now lost to time...

About the comic, I've been a bit scared to say this, but I think I need to take a step back from posting Haunting in Gardenview. I'm still working on the story in private and I'll occasionally post little stuff like this.

My anxieties have been doing acrobatics on me recently! I feel I need to step back for a bit. Apologies for the inconvenience, and thanks to everyone who have been following the things I've been posting, it means a lot <3

I always underestimate how long it takes to draw multiple characters on a scene. Like- dear god.

I must go on a quest to the lands of Youtube and find if there's a way or program to help you paint faster. Wish me luck.

Anyways, I feel the drawing are coming out nice tho!

I hadn't even realized it was a pj until you pointed it out. I like pajama themed skins on toons, so I'm happy!

It gives me Christmas vibes, mainly because of the socks and gloves.

Here's a little bonus comic btw:

- Rodger and Toodles live next door to each other, but Toodles sometimes stays over at Rodger's room.

- To Rodger's dismay, Toodles often forgets her toys at his room.

- Whenever possible, Rodger reads Toodles a story before bed. She's a big fan of Adventurer Buddy: Explorers of the Skies.

So many characters... I'm quite proud of that wide shot tho!

I really wish I could get these comics out faster, I have tons of scenes written down I really wanna draw.

But at the same time, I like adding little details everywhere...

I'm a bit worried about the tonal shift being too drastic, I'm sorry about that, still workin' on it.

The previous twisted encounter will be quite a big motivator in a lot of things that happen on the story. So I'm excited to share about that.

🎱 Toodles likes exaggerating her movements and expressions. She often quotes or imitates characters from cartoons she watches and comics she reads.

She also tries to imitate Rodger's mannerisms and way of speaking at times. Mainly when she's trying to appear smart.

🔍 Because of his serious looking resting face, people often assume Rodger is upset or annoyed. This has caused some misunderstandings.

To compensate, he tries showing a lot of expression on his face. Rodger's movements are usually stiff and to the point thought.

For a strange reason, during the dream, rather than fear, Rodger felt annoyed. It wasn't until he woke up the dread kicked in. He couldn't recognize his own bedroom.

Whatever happened to the detective duo that day?

I'm excited to show you guys what comes next, I had a lot fun writing! Honestly, I always thought I would throw the tower before reaching this part, glad I didn't.

Rodger & Toodles - Haunting in Gardenview - References, Doodles n' Unused stuff

Clothes... I really should have given myself some more time to think of the character's outfits. I can never make up my mind when it comes to them!

Similar to Rodger, Toodles was gonna have a bag to carry her stuff during the run. But I then quickly realized I don't like drawing bags :(

The first pic are some doodles I made! I was supposed to be studying math, but got tired.

Twisted Gigi and Vee are a nightmare to distract...

This part went through a couple rewrites... I didn't like the original script, felt a bit too out of character.

The current one still didn't fully convince me on certain parts, but I like it a lot more than this one!

(PD: Rodger told Toodles he wouldn't be able to go to the anniversary, she's worried about what she overheard before)

Originally the conversation ended with Toodles being a bit mad at Rodger... Mainly out of worry.

Here's a little secret... Toodles is also a little mad to Rodger in the current story. Nothing ''relationship breaking'' level, but she does have a little something on her mind :(

It'll get explored more later. Stay tuned!

I struggled drawing this scene, considering the situation I tried making them stand as awkward as possible. Since it's just the sketch there's a couple missing details.

Some reference, from #13 & #14. Trying to draw the wounded Rodger consistently was a nightmare, alas.

Rodger & Toodles - Haunting in Gardenview - #12

A little extra fact about the ichor machines is that they take longer to fill, a lot longer than the ones in-game. Alas, toons gotta be patient with them.

Each time they go on a run they usually go down 15 floors before heading back up. Sometimes less, sometimes a bit more. Depends on the team's condition.

- The kids felt bad after realizing Rodger had slept on the floor...

- They couldn't get the 3 meter golden Vee statue to play pretend, so they had to improvise.

- On the 5th panel Gourdy and Toodles are singing ''Un elefante se balanceaba'' They're currently on 30 elephants. You need to be singing for a while to reach that high.
