I don’t believe in breeding dogs for any reason ever and if you bought your dog from a breeder you don’t care about dogs 💁‍♂️

Not to be that dude but responsible breeding prevents the further deterioration of a breed. For example, people continue to backyard breed pugs who end up with extremely poor lifespans while responsible breeders are working to breed out this defect in pugs so they can actually breathe and live a full life.

Breeders take back the dog the second you can’t take care of it, refund you and re-home the dog. Responsible breeding is saving dog breeds and preventing things like cancer and more diseases from being spread by preventing sick dogs from breeding. I work in this industry and have seen first hand how much work and passion goes into breeding healthy dogs and making sure that the dog is never abandoned, keeping up with every single family that has ever taken a dog from them.

My last boss used to be a breeder and she went to the hospital with one of her clients and cried with her when the dog passed away from old age. To say buying from a breeder means you don’t care about dogs or to imply that it’s bad is extremely ignorant and irresponsible.
