pr company pitches an interview with a guy. said guy is not copied on the email (pretty typical in the pr world).

i reply, asking if the guy/his company would be willing to draft/submit an article instead. before hitting send, i do some online search magic (i.e., find the guy's email address on linkedin, lol) and cc him.

pr company responds less than 20 minutes later saying no, they don't have the bandwidth to draft anything, but the q&a is still on the table.

guy responds 7.5 hours later saying he can put something together for me by the deadline.
