ThaDoll's Video Vixen Pinkprint: How to be that girl
Welcome to Thadoll's guide to stepping into your video vixen era where glam meets power and being extra is the bare minimum. today i will be covering topics such as vixen fashion, hair, makeup, aura and more. As some of you guys may know my style is heavily inspired by the video vixens of the 2000s/2010s era I take inspiration from girls such as lola monroe, melyssa ford, karrine steffons, and etc. So here's how i achieve this aesthetic so perfectly.
Vixen Fashion 101🎀: The OG vixens didn't just show up they shut it down in every scene. Their fashion was loud, luxurious, and unapologetically sexy. To dress like a 2000s vixen you’ve got to mix Y2k glam with streetwear confidence and a touch of dramatic diva. My biggest tip would be making sure all of your outfits look like you just stepped out of a music video. Some staple pieces I recommend you having in your closet are low rise jeans, mini skirts/dresses, booty shorts, plunging tops, fur coats, bikinis, baby tees, and heels my #1 staple of course lol. Textures and fabrics I recommend for this vibe are denim, lace, animal print, fur, and satin. Accessories are just as important as the outfit honestly accessories just puts everything together accessories I recommend are hoop earrings, rimless sunglasses, bangles, layered necklaces, statement belts, designer hand bags, and of course high heels!!! My tip would be to show more skin and don’t worry what people have to say about you wear whatever whenever!
Vixen glam💋: early 2000s glam is my fav think thin brows, smoky eyes, colored eye shadow I love it all. For the vixen look I recommend making your eyes sultry and seductive, you wanna ooze sex appeal what I like to do is fill in my waterline with black liner it looks great on any eye shape and color. Also playing with different eyeshadow colors can bring fun to the look while still keeping it sexy. Also they were still glammed up but they were natural beauties so keep the base natural and light. And the brows? We already know the 2000s brows were thin so I just like to stick to that lol.
The vixen aura✨: video vixens were the definition of confident and sexy and it wasn’t just about looks it’s also about how they carried themselves. When you enter a room you want all heads to turn. the way you walk will definitely play a big role in that keep your head high, shoulders back, and hips swaying side to side. Even if you aren’t confident fake it till you make it I promise you’ll get there. And your energy? Always stay sexy and mysterious and flirty let people wonder.
Vixen hair💇🏾♀️: Hair can make or break the video vixen look. Whether it’s long and flowing or sleek and edgy. A vixens hair is never just a hairstyle, it’s a statement, accessory, and apart of her identity. The right hair gives you that I’m always on camera energy, even when you’re stepping out to run errands. I’m gonna break down some iconic hairstyles that channel the video vixen vibe. Sleek and straight, big curls, cornrows, short cuts, and slick back ponytails. Those hairstyles just ooze confidence without even trying. My biggest tip is to always keep your hair done even when it’s not done iykyk, never leave the house with a bonnet on it just gives I just stepped out of bed this may seem harsh but it’s the truth!
The hot bod🧘🏾♀️: A real video vixens body isn’t about being skinny, it’s about being curvy and confident. From thick thighs and a tiny waist to snatched silhouettes and strong feminine energy, the vixen body is built through self love and consistency. Whether your in the gym, at home, or working with what you’re momma gave you, this is all about owning your shape and keeping it cute. With the vixen body the main focus is usually keeping your curves and still being in shape some lifestyle changes I recommend are drinking plenty of water, getting your protein for that bubble butt, getting your fiber for that flat tummy, and stay consistent. I will be posting my vixen workout routine soon on my TikTok @miahthadoll also meal prepping really helps to it’s all about balancing healthy eating and the things you love at the same time.
Now that you’ve got the fashion, hair, beauty, body, and mindset on lock it’s time to fully step into your video vixen era. This isn’t just about looking good (even though you do) it’s about owning your presence and walking into your power, and letting the world know that you are the moment. Whether your strutting through life in heels or serving face in your mirror remember this
A real vixen doesn’t chase the spotlight she becomes it💅🏾! Don’t be afraid to be extra, to take up space, or to glam yourself up because from your hair to your hustle you’re building a legacy and this is only the beginning. Stay bold, stay bad, and most importantly stay you.
Xoxo,
Thadoll💋
