jayce enduring a symbolic rendition of viktor's trauma is so painful and so, so clever.

being stricken down and immobilized through sheer accident or, in viktor's case, a cruelly random quirk that caused his disability.

then physically dragging himself from the lowest level of zaun to piltover, much like how viktor spent his youth reaching toward the promise piltover offered, but only if he could "pull himself up by the boot straps" and get there on his own. socioeconomic forces working against him be damned.

i appreciate arcane reminding us of viktor's origins - the reason he is so called to help people and, eventually, save himself - and putting jayce through the ringer - the contrast between he and viktor's lived experiences is front and center throughout season 1. the writers send jayce, and the audience, on a grueling journey to contemplate those experiences and how they've manifested in these intertwined characters.

I haven’t sketched Joe Keery in awhile but this one just felt like it needed drawn today.

Got offered a job that looked better than my current one. They requested an example article from me. I worked really, really, really fucking hard to find something which would do numbers for them.

They accessed my application and looked at the sample article on March 3rd.

On March 3rd their website ran my article under a different writer's name, practically verbatim.

On March 4th they told me "after careful consideration we've decided not to proceed with your candidature."

You mean after you stole my fucking example article you fucking cunts.

I can't even begin to convey how mad and upset I am tbh.

Anyway, I usually don't name and shame, but this site was GameRant if anyone cares, and doesn't want to read articles which are legitimately written by people who they offer employment opportunities to and then steal from to churn out under a fake profile.

My Astarion study is done (kind of, probably)

This was a fun challenge, I definitely started slipping into my old ways as I continued on trying to be more detailed but I stayed loose where I could. I don’t need to try to be perfect I just wanted to draw and I was able to do just that. Getting to play around and learn was the most exciting part of it all.

I also think it looks so cool with a transparent background but idk what to do with that information
