Im feeling like shit, what an ample time to start writing Pyke.
13, 20, 28 for Thresh.
13. Do you like yourself as you are now?
Yes. He is very happy with how he is right now, as he finally feels free, even if his human disguise comes with its drawbacks.
20. If you could communicate with your younger self, what would you tell them?
That playing by the rules all the time will get him nowhere and that he should consider flipping everyone off and doing his own thing, that's the only way to get recognized. Either that or that he should be patient, as his day will come, and treat those he cares for with extra attention.
28. What is your biggest regret in life?
Regret isn't a concept Thresh is familiar with besides the one time he got people close to him killed without meaning to. While he doesn't regret the Ruination per se, he regrets getting those he cared about hurt but he's in complete denial about that.
the-ghoul-remainsâ:
âAs the living often do.â Reaper replied almost immediately, giving away the impression he was all-too used to the way people treated each other. In a sense, he did indeed, having lived through similar experiences on his own. While shackles like these were perhaps unneeded at the time, his mind wandered to a D I F F E R E N T set of chains, ones which dangled from oneâs neck as though they were a rabid hound. The same could be said about himself, no matter how he wished it to be wrong. Eyepatch was thought to be a murderer of humans and CCG during his time venturing with the little group he formed, though his only true score was Koutarou Amon, which at the end of it all was revealed to still be A L I V E .
IT DID NOT STOP THE CCG from assuming the worst however, growing a loathing and disdain to his kind even once memories were stripped away. It was easily tolerable during Sasakiâs control over the body, but once RosĂŠ has been exterminated, all Hell broke loose. Reaper brought his fingers to his neck, as if making sure that something that was once there was no longer visible and continued walking. When people didnât know what to do with their emotions they would often resort to taking it on someone else.
SOMEONE THAT AT TIMES, WERE I N N O C E N T OF ANY AND ALL CRIME. The mere thought made Reaperâs eyes shoot up, towards the sound that has grown clearer in his ears. He proceeded to carry the both of them into a place that seemed rather abandoned, granted by the dust caked on the floors, granting them both a soft crackling sound as they walked on top of it. It was an indoor fountain, still functional after all these years. Odd, but not unwelcomed.
âWhat they placed on you were easy to take off. What was its power over you then?â He asked, turning his back to the source of fresh water to grant Thresh some much-needed privacy.
As the living often do.
Thresh was no different than those living, dishing out pain and torment wherever he went, shattering families, breaking homes, crushing hope out of people until all was left was despair and the wish to be killed as it always seemed easier to just die than to remain in Threshâs clutches. But there were certain lines that Thresh didnât dare cross, lines that even for him seemed like much necessary boundaries that separated him, a sophisticated being, from the beasts lurking in the darkest corners of the streets. Thresh had a sense of pride and he wouldnât stoop as low as to rape someone, no matter the agony it would bring to the victim. Not only did he not seek the sexual gratification, there were other ways with which he could enact a power imbalance between himself and his prey, without needing to even touch their body. Physical torture was... nice, but not his preferred MO. And rape, certainly, was the lowest of lows one could possibly sink to.
He never imagined that he would fall victim to such an act himself, never once in this entire millennium.
Seeing the indoor fountain Reaper has led him to, Thresh quickly approached it and started peeling off dirty articles of clothing, desperately trying to get away from the stench. While he was undressing, he listened keenly to Reaperâs words, and considered just how much he should reveal about himself before Reaper turned on him too... especially when he was going to be nude.
âThe anti-magic shackles.â Thresh hummed and climbed into the fountain once all his clothes were off. The water was cold, but it didnât bother him much, simply sent a chill up his spine.
âAn artifact designed to seal whatever arcane or otherwise inhuman powers an individual possesses to turn them into a helpless little manthing as long as they have it on. They themselves cannot remove it.â He sunk into the water, shoulder deep, and just sat there, hugging his knees.
âOnly an outside source can.â
the-ghoul-remainsâ:
THE SOUND WAS FAINT, but he had focused on it. Making sure to ignore the strangerâs struggle while keeping his eyes ahead and away, trying to locate the source beyond the sounds of the rattling. If he could simply reach inside and shake that white-haired creature down until heâd stopped, now that would be lovely. Make it plainly clear to him that things were going to be taken care of and that he could sit his childish ass back D O W N . All he ever did was sit on that F U C K I N G chair and bark about the choices heâs been making, giving him orders here and there of how H E thinks things should be. The investigator was growing deathly tired of being unable to put his hands on -
â M Y  N A M E  I S  T H R E S H  ,  B Y  T H E  W A Y . â
HOLLOW EYES TURNED THEMSELVES THRESHâS WAY. Even his name was nothing of the ordinary, it was easy to notice at least that much about the man. On top of it all, Thresh now placed Reaper in a situation in which heâll have to quickly decide on his name, A G A I N . He was known as Sasaki Haise back at Ionia, the name was befitting the culture and surroundings while under the Master of Shadowâs black-feathered wing. Yet on the battlefields he used his mantle, and the Noxians have come to know him by the same title as many ghouls did before their U N F O R T U N A T E demise.
IN NOXUS, IT WAS CRUSH OR BE CRUSHED. Appear threatening and untouched, powerful and devastating and give no real view of the real person beneath those grim nicknames and titles. Granted, Thresh has given him such a name he D O U B T E D it could be a real one - as odd and fantastical as this universe was, no mother would simply call an infant â T H R E S H â , he figured. This too had to be some fearsome name that merchants and bandits alike would shudder at the thought of, something granted to him in battle or in whatever it was that unmade him from his humanity.
SO BE IT, THEN. Lowering his thumb from middle finger, the investigator casted his glance away from Thresh, beginning to lead him by his sensitive ears. He was grateful that at least they gained some experience and experimented with their senses before having come on this journey, for this was not the first time that looking for water or tracking down â P R E Y â came in clutch.
âBlack Reaper. Just Reaperâs fine.â Was his sole reply. âWhat did the humans want with you? Besides the obvious.â
âReaper.â Thresh tasted the Ionianâs name on his tongue, wondering just what he did to deserve to be called that. There were all sorts of wretches in Noxus, but there was a difference between the common wretch and someone who should actually be given respect to. Many peopleâs blood was on this manâs hands, Thresh assumed, and in a sense he found it comforting, as while he was perfectly capable of fending for himself, having someone equally as fearsome by his side was just another layer of security he felt he could definitely use given the circumstances.
He didnât know where those men got the anti-magic shackles and chains, or how come they were strong enough to contain the Black Mist itself. Either way whatâs done has been done, and now Thresh had to live with the consequences. The grim thought of bearing these scars long after his assailants were gone, even if heâd torture them to madness, made reality look rather bleak to Thresh. He could alter their memories to the point where THEYâD believe they were the ones who were assaulted, but that wouldnât undo the damage done to Thresh himself, no.
He wondered if he even had the balls to look at them after the fact at all. If he was even capable of facing them head-on.
âIâve made quite the name for myself here in Noxus ever since my arrival.â Thresh said after registering Reaperâs question, adjusting his wet and sticky clothes on his wet and sticky body. The sensation made him want to gag all over again.
âThrill-seekers wishing to have a formidable story to tell. People avenging their fallen family and friends. Who even knows at this point. All I know is that they took great pride in what theyâd done.â He sneered.

What are the three things that make you the happiest?
What book or movie influenced you the most as a person?

If you found out you had a week left to live, how would you spend your time?
Are you afraid of death?
Do you have any habits that others would consider weird?
What medium of art do you appreciate the most?
What do you hope people will say about you at your funeral?
If you could, and had to, move anywhere, where would you choose to live?
What immediately turns you off of a person, romantically or platonically?
How do you most want to make a difference?
Do you believe in an afterlife, and why or why not?
Do you like yourself as you are now?
Have you ever laughed so hard you peed, and what was it over?
What scares you the most?
Who do you look up to, alive or dead?
Whatâs a lesson you had to learn the hard way?
What are the three things in your life youâre most grateful for?

If you could communicate with your younger self, what would you tell them?
How often do you make excuses?
When was the last time you were furious, and what was it over?
Do you have any talents youâre really great at?

NO COMMENT WAS MADE at the reply, the threats of death and torture beyond the realm of the dead not taken completely seriously. Reaper was not going to oppose the spilling of blood, even when the scent reeking from the stranger was human - so long he was not expected to participate. He would however tag along, even if the other would prove aggressive and force him to do so behind his back. Not because he C A R E D , or anything laughable of the sorts, no. But because of the voice much similar to his own nagging inside his head, a centipede disguised as a boy rattling rusty chains.
THE LAST THING HE WISHED FOR is for that thing to break free. Reaper sent another quick gaze at the strangerâs state as he slowly rose back up on his feet, hollow eyes looking away at the empty street. It wouldnât take long before someone else would stumble across them hereâŚ
âI can hear a source of water not too far from here. However until we reach there I am most certainly afraid youâll have to make do with what you have.â His head perked slightly. He tried to think or look at the other as little as he could, keeping his mind occupied on what they must face and do rather than things as they were now. âCan you even stand?â
No mockery, no snide remarks on the strangerâs part. Thresh wondered what sort of hidden agenda the foreigner had in store for him, as stumbling across genuine kindness in Noxus was almost equal to finding a unicorn just standing in the middle of the road. The voices of the men who ravaged his body still echoing in Threshâs mind, the sensation of their painful grip still on his body, changing hands from one person to the nest... It was all enough to make Threshâs stomach do backflips inside of him and soon enough he emptied its contents on the pavement beneath them, the sensation of bile scorching his throat leaving him feeling even sicker.
When the source of water was mentioned, Thresh quickly recollected his bearings and wiped away his mouth, coughing and retching. He spat aside, giving the Ionian stranger a daring look. A look that said âif you try anything I wonât hesitate to turn you into minced meatâ.
âI could bathe there. Rinse myself off.â Thresh remarked, as while his wounds healed at an accelerated rate, the remnants of urine and semen and spit still clung to his body and his clothes like glue. âI think I can stand, yes. Just take me there, quick. Before anyone else shows up.â
Thresh pulled his pants back up, an expression of disgust on his face from having to wear soiled clothes. But he said nothing as he pushed himself back up on his feet. Wobbly at first, but otherwise capable of supporting his own weight.
âMy name is Thresh, by the way.â He added, almost inaudibly.
the-ghoul-remainsâ:
THUMB FOUND ITSELF AGAIN caressing at middle finger, the matte, short nail digging itself into the skin as he contemplated pressuring down on it again. This was⌠a large group of people, and still they needed these restraints to keep the older man at bay. The way he looked and reeked this wasnât just some crime with a victim chosen at random to pursue relief of some sadistic fantasies.
â SHITâS LOOKING PERSONAL. â That, or they were deathly afraid of what could have happened to him if he ever had the chance to turn back against them. This caution was in no way natural, unless he was some prisoner or criminal apprehended by crude officers. Just the thought made Reaper nearly gag - and the strangerâs little C H U C K L E didnât help. It was a peeve of his, people making light of a situation. As much as it was a reaction expressing anxiety and attempts at self-soothing, it reminded him too much of a certain someone.
âIs letting them getting away a better option, then?â
Threshâs expression turned grim and irritated. He angrily wiped the tears away, sniffling once more as he straightened up to look at the Ionian stranger while his bruises, and any other visible and invisible wounds, slowly healed up but at a rate much more accelerated than a normal humanâs.
âNo. Of course not.â He hissed. âTheir souls are mine to reap, even if I am not entirely sure I want them at all.â
Disguises discarded to the wind, if the Ionian heard the stories already, heâd know who Thresh was by now, and Thresh found that he cared none. He could take his soul too if he wanted. Question was if he wanted to get rid of possibly the only ally he had at the moment, when he was so pathetic and weak. Defiled.
âThe nearest tavern is where Iâd begin my search, as they seem like the type to kiss and tell,â Thresh twisted his nose, âBut you must understand that I cannot bring myself to make an appearance anywhere public when I look like this.â
the-ghoul-remainsâ:
TOUCHING SOMEONE WAS THE L A S T THING the reaper ever wished to do, at A N Y given time. He blinked once at the damp eyes glaring back at him and lowered his hollow ones to the shackles, lowering his hands down. With gentleness that could be found as surprising, the investigator slipped a finger between bruised skin and metal and snapped the thing cleanly off. Reaper made sure to break them on two sides each time to fully release the limbs and tossed everything as away from them as he could, sending his very own glare at the restraints as he did so.
âI believe am owed something in return.â He then said, blank hues slowly returning to the man who hadnât even had time to recompose himself.
â W H O  D I D  T H I S ? â
Thresh couldnât help but wince slightly as the shackles were broken off and removed from him, tossed aside like scraps of metal. He also felt his power returning to him, now more motivated to move his body. He rubbed sore wrists, and bent his legs in a way that would cover his privates since getting dressed was still a hassle at this stage.
He eyed the Ionian. He didnât know if he should trust him, but then again he already saw him covered in piss and cum on the floor, half dressed and crying. There wasnât much else Thresh could do to look even more vulnerable, a fact that made his blood boil and his guts twist into knots.
If he wanted to take advantage of him next he wouldnât have removed the shackles.
âThere were many of them.â Thresh sniffled, staring at his bruised skin. His rear still hurt. The rest of his body did too.
âAbout 10 or 11 of them. If I saw them again Iâd recognize them, but Noxus is big.â He added with a dry chuckle.
the-ghoul-remainsâ:
HE DIDNâT FEEL LIKE RETURNING TODAY. His superiors busy doing fuck-knows what, his place of imprisonment unattended. Itâs not like they cared where he went and whatâs he been up to - Reaperâs felt like he was closely watched by something he couldnât quite place a finger at yet. Some of it had to do with the crows, he figured, but the extend of it⌠not so much.
AND SO HE WANDERED the streets of Noxus, looking for a place to hole in and disappear for a few hours, perhaps even catch a nap at. Any place that was farther away from T H E R E , even when no harm was brought upon him in the cozy red-walled confines and soft sheets. It was the fact that he felt like a caged butterfly unable to fully spread its wings and fly.
THEN IT WAS, that the scent of unfamiliar B L O O D reached his sensitive nose. Not human, he could tell that much, therefore something P O S S I B L Y edible, or something he at the very least could deal with to claim the territory for himself. At least, thatâs what Reaper thought as heâs gotten closer, only for the sound of crying to reach his ears. With his steps then slightly rushed, the stoic-faced man saw a pair of boots before he discovered the rest of the person behind the sounds and scents.
A MAN, in a rather pathetic state of existence. This was likely what the people above him said when they meant that in Noxus, the strong T A K E . Everything appeared to have been taken from the mess on the floor except his life. Reaper felt a lump in his throat as he stood there frozen, staring down coldly albeit the bile threatening escape.
â HOW REPULSIVE. IT SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF ITS MISERY. â He mused to himself, running a black-nailed thumb across a middle finger. â THAT CRYING IS ANNOYING. â
â DONâT YOU F U C K I N G DARE. â
THE VOICE REPLYING WAS TREMBLING, the white-haired ghoul behind it sitting stiffly in his chair, the arms restrained behind his back shaking uncontrollably at the wrists. Even in his state of distant thought Reaper could hear the rattling of the chains. There was rage in Eyepatchâs voice, making it painfully clear that choosing that sort of action would have dire consequences.
â FUCKING M O V E ! â
ALBEIT SOME RELUCTANCE, Reaper found himself agreeing. He took a step closer to the stranger, finally removing the thumb from his knuckle to grip at the black coat instead. Not without contemplating for a long minute, the investigator found himself planting one knee at the pavement and reaching out to the restraints.
âSir. S I R . â He tried to call out to the other. While not at all comforting, his own thoughts were clouded by a myriad of possible ways things could go wrong, along⌠some other things. âIâm going to break these, but you must promise to not revenge against me.â
Thresh was drowning in his own mind and only snapped back to reality when he was addressed. Suddenly his senses kicked into gear again and he noticed just how silent everything was around them, how still and cold the air was. He also took notice of the young man that now knelt beside him. Not entirely human, he sensed, but still human enough to make Thresh retch. He grit his teeth, tears still flowing down his cheeks as he slowly managed to turn his head to look at the new presence.
He looked foreign. Nothing like the Noxians Thresh encountered so far. He was smaller in frame, and his facial features were all different. An Ionian most likely. What was an Ionian man doing roaming in the streets of Noxus?
Gritting his teeth at the young manâs outstretched hand, imagining the worst, Thresh sucked in a breath and froze. The shackles prevented him from summoning his weapon or use the Mist to teleport elsewhere, so if Thresh wanted to fight back against the Ionian, heâd have to do it in the traditional human way of throwing punches. And while Thresh was by no means weak, he wasnât a close quarters combat specialist either.
âJust donât touch me.â He muttered, his voice strained and shaky. âDonât lay your hands on me.â
TW: Rape mention, some graphic detail
It took 11 men and anti-magic shackles to trap Thresh in his human form and subdue him. 11 men to drag the struggling Thresh someplace isolated and take turns violating his body, mocking and insulting him while they were at it. 11 men to strip Thresh of all sense of power he felt, of any confidence or self-assuredness, of his pride, and replace them with fear, disgust, anger, and despair. Some of these emotions he was unsure he was even capable of feeling anymore.
Or at least be able to pretend that he doesnât.
By the time the men were done, Thresh was a squirming mess on the floor, covered in semen and full of it, leaking. They spat in his face, they pissed on him, and then they left, not bothering to remove the anti-magic shackles from him. They simply left him there crying silent tears of rage, unbothered by who might find him like this if all. Who might take advantage of him next.
Thresh laid there, curled into himself, still hearing their voices and feeling their hands on his body long after theyâd already left. He tried to will his muscles to move but couldnât, frozen in the same position for what felt like hours, his body still exposed.
If he could just get up...if he could only just stand back up... @the-ghoul-remains
it is a weird announcement to make but i actually figured unbound thresh out more deeply during the time i was absent from the blog (partly thanks to playing the ruined king game) and im this close to start yelling about him again so-
hello bitches it is i
The creature that wants to kill you will not growl.
The function of a growl is as a warning. It is a communication that violence is available as a tool, but is not preferred. Other outcomes, besides your death, are available and should be considered.
But the creature that wants to kill you will not growl.
If your death is the goal, then growling will only serve as a delay and may result in your escape, which runs counter to the goal. There will be no growl, no warning. There will be no snarl or hiss or bluster. The creature that bares its teeth with the intent to kill only does so to bring closer its fangs to your demise.
The creature that growls does not want to kill you, but will if it must.
I advise you to appreciate the warning. You may not receive another.
(Shatter ask for unbound thresh) Your hair tentacles don't go with your outfit in the slightest. Are braids really that hard to do?
"Are you volunteering to braid my hair for me, then?" Thresh crooned. "Go ahead, come closer. See where it gets you, my dear."
