[Concept Art to compensate for long post] I'm so sorry for being half ass here. Instead of talking about how daily life stress and mental illness [and without getting too personal] got in the way, I'm just going to say this: Don't let stress affect your health. Especially if you tend to overwork yourself to hide from your symptoms. I do this because I feel my symptoms get in my way, and they do. But, they will catch up with you and, when they do, it's with a vengeance. I am, thankfully, getting through this knowing that Winter Vacation will be upon us...and I shall rest...*sheds single tear dramatically* . [Onto some more positive shit! :D] I'm excited to say, however, that I will be moving to another page at the end of next month. XXI INC will be closing, officially, on December 31st 2018. I want to thank EVERYONE for helping get this far. If it weren't for you, this wouldn't even have existed and I probably would've just settled for any old job. The comments I receive constantly keep me going and have helped me stop selling myself short so much. I've been under this name since I was 19, and I think it's time for me to provide better quality content for the followers I have gained, and hope to gain, as I share snippets of my imagination with you. I want to continue to provide inspiration and solace for those who find it in my pieces, especially in a climate that seems to be growing darker by the day. That is the goal of Solemn Bells; to be a place to get away from a chaotic world and refresh your mind with some mentally tasty art. [Haha]. I'm beginning to realize how much art plays a role in helping people remember to be hopeful, even in the darkest of moments. It can also help us remember the things that made us who we are as individuals or discover something new and unexpected. For some, like myself, it can remind you of your faith and what is driving you in the first place. And, whether you share the same beliefs as me or not, I always hope to provide solace for those who need it whenever I create something. . Working on my first campaign called "Celestials and Paper Moons". They will be illustrated both digitally and traditionally, as well as available for print in January! Vintage photography from the early 1900's is a large part of the inspiration because of the unique, and sometimes weird, looking costumes that people would dress in at the time. Burlesque and film actresses would wear these gorgeous celestial headpieces that would match their gowns, adorned with diamonds and stars. People would take pictures in front of paper moons, some blank, some with regular faces, and some with bizarre faces painted on them. It makes for the perfect surrealistic subject to lead up to the move to my new page that will be up at the end of December. This campaign will be launching in January! I can honestly say I think I bit a little more than I could chew with trying to juggle Inktober with school, personal life, and other projects. Hopefully, next year, I'll be more prepared for it.
