my favourite thing about ME! is that sure it’s a cute pop song but it has all those little details that taylor adds which subtlety makes the song better than the rest of what you hear on the radio

like how the music stops when brandon sings ‘me’, or the little ‘ahhh’s in the second verse that differentiates it from the first (as well as lame guys instead of cool chicks), and how the end of the song layers all of the components of the songs together (e.g. bridge sung alongside chorus) (very similar to what she did in holy ground)

Right @taylorswift I’ve been watching the video on repeat all morning and this is the only thing I’ve come up with. Help.

I’m kinda thinking the big Easter egg is linked to what the sky is like? But I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is.

Also focusing on the fact that the music video is set in Paris (obviously to add to the romantic factor, and also because surrealism comes from France) but there’s also palm trees to bring in LA and Big Ben to give a nod to London?
