Minor Spooky Updates!

I’ve made it a fairly regular habit to go through and check P’s Instagram, Patreon, Teespring, and even other parts of the 2h32 channel to see what might have changed or been updated when we weren’t looking, and I’ve definitely noticed a few interesting changes!

For one thing, P has changed some of the thumbnails for a couple of the videos; in the earlier days of the channel, most of the thumbnails seemed to just be a frame from the video itself, which I don’t mind since I think those thumbnails draw a good deal of intrigue and creepiness. Now, however, we can see some new original art for a couple of the thumbnails:

Here’s all the new thumbnails so far- I’d be curious to see if he changes/ updates any other thumbnails in the future. The “Doppelgänger” and “Allure” ones are my personal favorites out of this batch (although the “P” thumbnail is a very close runner- up)

The Patreon page has also been slightly revamped! A new animated banner and profile picture, and the pictures for the reward tiers are different:

Lastly, P has added A BUNCH of new offerings to the Teespring store!

And that’s all I’ve seen for now! Things have obviously been pretty quiet as far as uploads go, but our conductor has definitely still been busy behind the scenes.

After a long wait, P has returned with a new video! With one of the most terrifying thumbnails I sincerely think I’ve ever seen 

We get to see hints of some new interesting and horrifying monsters, stuck inside while something sizable moves around outside….

WE 👏 HAVE 👏 NEWS

Not only did P return to Instagram with two new posts, he also gave us an announcement with one of them:

1) killer art as always, and 2) I am so fucking here for a 2h32 art book it’s not even funny. I would love a physical copy because I’m still one of those people who likes to purchase media in physical form as opposed to digital, but for P I would just be grateful to be able to purchase it at all, whatever form it takes. And the fact that it would have extra stuff like the essays and production notes, I’m sold already. Learning more about P’s process and how he puts 2h32 together, along with any other insight that might be provided about the art and series as a whole, is all I ever wanted and more.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for any updates, and to see what a tentative price might be, and I’ll post whatever I might find here.

Additionally, on Instagram, P posted a new piece of our beloved conductor that is also now available as a poster print on the teespring store!

(the new print is the one on the far left, “The Fallen Conductor”) And, if I’m not mistaken, it looks like the poster prices have dropped from $24.99 to $20.99 as well!

Looks like we’ve got more cool stuff to keep an eye out for, and I’m glad to see that P is still trucking along with his delightfully dark work. Can’t wait to see what might be in store for us in the future. Let me know what you all think of the new art and P’s proposed art book!

God I miss P. I wish he'd upload. I'm pretty close to just joining his patreon out of desperation for content at this point.

I hear that 100%, and it’s part of the reason why I bought one of his posters. Right now I don’t have the extra money to contribute as much as I would like to his Patreon every month, but a one- time purchase of a poster was doable for me (though in the future I may go back and buy the Doppelgänger one as well). I don’t know how Teespring shops work or how much money he actually gets from selling the posters, but I hope it helps just a little bit.

But yeah, I miss him too. I understand that it takes time (and obviously money) to make the kind of killer quality videos he’s given us since “The Fallen Conductor”, and when you don’t have much money to work with it takes longer to put things together. But despite knowing that and understanding that we have to be patient, I was still a little sad to not get a video again this month, if only because I know P deserves way more funding and attention for his work. 

I’m hoping we get a new upload next month; maybe that’ll be his Christmas present for us lol

I ended up buying a poster from P’s Teespring store the other week, for two reasons:

1) P’s art is cool as hell and it’s even cooler to be able to hang a print of his work on my wall

2) I’m unable to regularly contribute to his Patreon at this time, but I still wanted to support P in some way. He notes in the “About” section of his Teespring that “all proceeds will go directly into all my creative endeavors”, so it presents a happy medium for those of us who can’t be regular patrons. We financially support P’s work on some level, and we get a large print of some sweet monster art.

I just got my poster delivered today (I ordered the “Fallen Conductor” one) and I was so excited to open it up and see how the art looks up close and in person.

Yes, I know $25 is kind of pricey for a poster, but honestly, I’d say it was well worth every penny I spent on it. 

I’ll post pictures once I get it flat enough and situated on my wall.

I now have a lovely 18″x 24″ print of the Conductor hanging on the back of my bedroom door, and I couldn’t be happier about this poster. Sorry about the glares and flashes, I was fighting with poor lighting and my camera flash trying to get decent pictures that showcased all the fine color and detail. 

Like I said, I think this poster was well worth the $25. We’re paying for a really cool piece of art by an independent creator, and we’re also helping to fund 2h32 and potentially other awesome, creepy things from P in the future. The print came out perfectly clear and vibrant, which allowed me to see the piece in greater detail than I could on the Teespring preview page or even on P’s Instagram, even when I zoomed in. I mean, look at the extra detail on the face! All the weird shadows and lines and dark spots that may or may not be blood, I can see all the gruesome bits up close and personal. I love it.

The paper itself is nice and thick and sturdy, and an 18″x 24″ poster isn’t that bad of a size. It’s not so big that trying to put it up by yourself is a pain in the ass, and it’s not so small that you feel like you’re getting ripped off. It wasn’t rolled up super tightly in the package so it didn’t need to be flattened for a super long time before being ready to hang up. So yeah, overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase; I was so excited to finally get it that I was grinning for like an hour after I opened and unrolled it.

By all means, if you’re curious about supporting P without becoming a Patreon member, go check out the posters over on P’s store. There’s only three to choose from by far, but obviously the Fallen Conductor is a good choice and I’m sure the other two would look amazing as well. Get one for yourself, get one for a friend, get one for anyone who’s into spooky stuff and introduce them to P and 2h32. The Choir is always open to new members~

I rewatched “P” because I’m trying to constantly refresh myself on what has happened in past videos and I now have more screencaps to add to my “favorite images of P” folder

I know it’s a little hard to see since the whole video is a blurred, grainy red, but I just love how dramatic he is with his gesturing here (and I know that’s the point, since he’s basically putting on a big dramatic show in this video). Flesh- eating tendencies aside, I love our blurry, spooky conductor.

Every day I think of that “I wish that P would just fucking rail me” ask (and the conversation that followed) and not only do I respect the anon and say cheers to that, but that one ask by itself is probably the best one I’ve received out of my entire tumblr experience. That’s the kind of weird energy I want on this blog: we can have in- depth discussions about eldritch horrors and the spooky art they hail from, but we can also be total dumbasses over those same monsters and just have a good time with 2h32 and the content that P gives us.

So P posted a new piece on his Instagram and I’m kind of in love with it. I also recognize that pitcher in his hand from his “Surface” piece, which also serves as the thumbnail for the “Renaissance” video on the channel. Stunning artwork as always from our conductor.

Let’s Talk About Some Monsters

Anyone have a favorite monster/ creature from 2h32? Or perhaps a favorite of P’s many, ever- changing forms? As of right now I’m quite fond of the designs for the Doppelgänger and the Maestro, but I think all of the monsters that appear (or partially appear) in the series are delightfully creepy in their own way.

If anyone wants to show a particular eldritch horror some love (or share anything else they enjoy about the series), I’d love to hear your input!
