❝ i can’t steal you the stars, but i can try every day. ❞
ben haenow starters (part one.)
“but what if what i want aren’t stars?” jinri chuckled as her eyes stayed fixed on the floor, focusing her mind on the lines of the pavement, counting the squares. “i know what you mean though. and thank you for that.”
jinri realised how at ease she felt at the presence of the other, as she felt wonho’s hands hold onto hers tighter. their fingers were now completely intertwined and the two had been walking like this for a while now, with no particular destination or purpose – like their relationship.
relationship. that’s what the two claimed they had, at least to the general public. yet behind the scenes, it was strictly a matter of convenience for the two, each for their own gain. but lately the line had started blurring. the need for a relationship purely for convenience has gone, with each of their parents and exes almost out of their hair, but the two kept going.
in fact the girl found herself actually caring, whenever he’d tell her about his escapades or when she chose outfits for their ‘dates’. she couldn’t put a finger on it, and avoided thinking about it even more, whether it was pure jealousy and possessiveness, or something more.
but for now, she was fine with not defining things. she was fine with blurred lines.
