Raspberry Lies Lips as red as the harvest moon, I wait for the swelling. A stinging numbness surrounds the words that pierce my ears. I wait. To see if the pain is real. To see if my reaction is really allergic to the bullshit that you spew so effortlessly. I wait. To catch a glimpse of the beautiful red as it drip from your lips and fall upon my ears. Why would God let my body be poisoned by one of his creations? Is this allergy mainly mental? Or can my body not handle the truth of this fruit?
