Keep On Keeping On!
Hi 24twos followers.
This week my article will be an extract from a book that a friend of mine wrote. His name is Karl Smith I would highly recommend that all of you follow him on Facebook as he is an incredibly motivational person and puts up awesome messages once or twice a day.
A bit about Karl. He is a public speaker based in Cape Town, and does seminars on how to network yourself and build your own personal brand, and has worked with some of the top JSE listed businesses. The extract that I have chosen is on persistence and what it really means to persist with a goal, so without further adieu, here it is.
A business has to be involving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative instincts.

Failure Is The Fog Through Which We Glimpse Triumph
Almost everything in life involves learning, going to school, going to university, getting a job, being in a relationship, we're all constantly learning. Part of learning is figuring out what works, but the often overlooked aspect is learning what doesn't work.
Thomas Edison famously said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Very few people, including me, would be most likely be discouraged to the point of giving up after about 10 or 20 "ways that won't work", and unfortunately this perceived failure is then constantly replayed in our minds as we undertake the next venture.
The business schools reward difficult complex behavior more than simple behavior, but simple behavior is more effective.

How To Change Who You Are In An Instant
We all have beliefs about ourselves which are so ingrained that changing them seems virtually impossible, but what if you could change those beliefs in an instant? Imagine getting a complete makeover and not even recognizing the person in the mirror, the old you is gone, you can be whoever you want to!
The truth is, it is possible. Almost the entire makeup of who we are is the result of repetitive behaviours rooted in beliefs we have about ourselves, and all beliefs are simply repetitive thoughts.
Good humor is a tonic for mind and body. It is the best antidote for anxiety and depression. It is a business asset. It attracts and keeps friends. It lightens human burdens. It is the direct route to serenity and contentment.

What's Up With Pyramid Schemes?
For most people, the mention of "multi-level marketing" or "downline" automatically makes them think of pyramid schemes and people getting scammed out of all their hard earned money. Unfortunately there are pyramid schemes out there, but by knowing what to look for you can very quickly separate the scams from the real money making opportunities.
The competitor to be feared is one who never bothers about you at all, but goes on making his own business better all the time.

Making Money: Cycles Explained
Hey 24twos.
This week Dave has asked me to explain how the Vemma binary compensation plan works, and how you can out earn the people in your up-line.
Now it is due to this binary plan that you are able to out earn your up-line, because it is responsible for you biggest form of payment, cycle pay. Vemma operates on what is called a 1/3rd binary, which is great because it allows you to have a power leg.
How it works is as follows:
The great leaders are like the best conductors - they reach beyond the notes to reach the magic in the players.

The Admin Side of Vemma Made Easy!
Vemma have given us a couple of ways to make the admin side of Vemma as easy as possible. You will get to the stage (quicker than you think) where your income is becoming more substantial from being a Vemma Brand Partner. You'll quickly realise you want quick and easy access to your downline's info, track your performance, etc.
I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.

Getting More Than You Think
I was really impressed when I heard that Vemma gives everybody a free website, Vemma gives us so many tools to run our business and make the absolute most of the opportunity. When you're starting a business it's vital to keep your overheads low and the clever guys at Vemma have worked out a way to give everybody all these tools for free!
If you run a business, it goes without saying that you have to have a website. It gives you access to way more people than you could normally reach just by word of mouth, and it means that people can access the information from anywhere in the world.
To think that the new economy is over is like somebody in London in 1830 saying the entire industrial revolution is over because some textile manufacturers in Manchester went broke.

It's All About Passion
Hey 24twos followers. This week I have decided to put forward a motivational video as my message. It is by one of my favourite motivational speakers (Les Brown) who has one of the most incredible life stories. He rose up from utter poverty to become one of America's top radio personalities, and is now one of the worlds top motivational speakers. In this talk he speaks about having passion for what you do, which I think goes hand in hand with my personal view on how Vemma should be handled, which is: if you aren't having fun then you aren't doing it right.
Enjoy
